1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

Has anyone else noticed the new tyre app and the updated 'ideal' pressure according to the length of the bars is now different. Ideal psi seems to have been lowered and made more equal between front/rears. Front used to be around 1 psi higher than the rear for the bars to be equal. Not they seem to be the same - between 27.5 and 28.5

  4. Hi @Minolin see CPU usage.

First example, both executables from 1.0.7 beta preview 1. One Player on each server. Normal CPU usage.
    acc-107beta1.png

Second example, accserver1 running version 1.0.7 beta preview 2, without any players (has anormal CPU usage, but low). Accserver 2 runs version 1.0.7 beta preview 1, with one player (normal).

Third example, accserver1 1.0.7 beta preview 2 with one players (high cup usage). Accserver 2 with black preview 1 (normal).

You need to enter the spectator password, if its your server you need to set a spectator password.

Reading through v3 admin handbook is it possible UDP debug is on by default? When I ran the other build with high cpu usage it showed extra lines in the server window regarding UDP and they even show in the screens from @Rolz here.

    Code:
/debug formation Prints information about the current cars and their states.
Useful information to report bugs during the formation lap
/debug bandwidth Let’s the server console print the current bandwidth
relevant data for both TCP and UDP traffic. Type again to
    turn it off.
/debug qos Let’s the server console print the current network
connection quality data. Type again to turn it off.

Not sure if this was in previous versions as I've not really driven the Porsche Cup car before. In the car setup menu there's only engine map 1 available, but in the car you can toggle the electronics menu to select map 16 which flashes up an engineer message state Engine Map set to 0. Clearly there's a bug, but is the bug that map 0 isn't in the setup menu or that map 0 exists in car?

I think you still need a VR headset. If your waiting for a hotfix to give your regular screen setup VR you may be waiting a while. :D

On triple screen in the showroom the cars are too big, the zoom is too high. it's the same for all background animations and replays.

So the behaviour over curbs is reasonable now and it's much safer to use any of them, good job with fixing that!
But what happened to my pace and force feedback? I tested 1.0.7 for several hours now and even jumped back and forth between live and beta patches to makes sure I'm not insane.
The cars I've driven seem to produce so much more understeer. On my best known track Nürburgring I lost nearly a second with the Lexus (from mid 1:53s in 1.0.6 to unstable mid-high 1:54 in 1.0.7). The Mercedes went up by nearly 3 seconds and the Porsche about 1,5. This is true on other tracks aswell but a little more inconsistent since I don't know them that well.
Also the force feedback went back to what it was pre custom LUT for me. The LUT helped a lot with my G29, as it also did in AC, so I was very happy about this being implemented in ACC too. Unfortunately the patch seems to destroy the lovely crisp feeling for the car I had the last few weeks. Also I couldn't make out any difference of using the LUT and not using it. But that could be a placebo effect, maybe someone else could test this?

Edit: I tried very different things with the setups, especially on the Lexus since I thought the new tyre model maybe needs updated setups, but that changed not much and mostly it got worse.

I confirm, 488 on TC 3 and cut at 4 it's now my safe setting vs 6/6, thanks a lot @Kunos for the improvement.

I also think the FFB feels worse than before. The best I can describe it is that it feels like the tyres are under inflated.

Keep at it, you will get back to basically the same pace you had previously. Driving with the new tyre model requires different technique and lines to be taken to get the same pace as before. In tyre model 1 found the way to pace was to drive patiently with precision and not over aggressively, but with tyre model 2 that's flipped. You need to drive the car hard, cut curbs, take wide entry lines etc to get the pace back.

Not sure why the LUT wouldn't be working, maybe check the ini to make sure it's still mapped to your LUT file. Aside from that I found I had to increase my ffb gain by 5. The curbs won't feel as 'sharp' through the wheel as before but you will be able to get more subtle usable details through the wheel. I'm on a Fanatec CSL PS4 so YMMV. You could also try adding a touch of min force and road effects to increase some of those lighter ffb effects.

Tire flex was modified in the 1.7 update and is supposed to translate to the ffb, so maybe the slight mushy feeling is that. Tire rubber seems to interact with weight transfer more than before and is very knife edge. Not uncontrollable, but you really know when you lose lateral traction and have reached the edge of adhesion.

I made a save in the middle of a race in championship mode, then I quit. When I reenter the race, my setup was not correctly loaded. It's seems I was on the stock aggressive setup instead of mine. I don't know if it was already the case in the previous 1.0.7 because I never tried it before.
In 1 hour race, you can restart the race but that's unplayable for the moment in 6h or 24h race.
Anyway, I'm sure it will be fixed very soon.
Thanks Kunos for your great work so far and keep it up.
