1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    Thanks for all the support and the beers guys, it's much appreciated :)

    I've put together another beta release which addresses some issues. Ordinarily I'd push this to the live release but I've still not had any documentation for the shared memory so some of these changes are based on assumptions about how the data work - the testing I've done (offline) suggests it's OK but I'd like to get more confidence - feedback about be helpful here.

    This version should fix:
    - missing flag messages (still not convinced the game data is working properly here, there may be some issues)
    - maybe some penalty behaviour, it's coupled to the flag data in a weird way so it might bounce around
    - pit in / out messages now play
    - player car detection now uses the car ID from shared memory (I had no idea that was even in there), should be much more solid
    - corner locations are wired up for Zolder, Monza, Brands, Hungaroring and Nurburgring (others to be done, these need testing)
    - use leaderboard position instead of derived realtime position for cars that have finished the race (not tested this one - VR sickness issues)
    - mandatory pit window messages should now be correct

    Its such a great app!

    I remember in AC my chief was telling me when I invalidated a lap or am I mixing things up here :confused:?
    Also it would be great (if the shared memory supports it) to get notified of warnings, because they are soo misplaced at the HUD that I always miss them :oops:

    I've tested it offline and online.
    I can confirm this is working great now:
    - flags messages (white, yellow tested)
    - mandarory pitstop messages
    - pit in / out messages
    - detection of the spotter seems to be improved (just one issue in two races)

    Is working partly:
    - penalty warnings (got three in a race and just one triggered CC)

    Tested the last version which came with the latest in app update.

    Working well mostly. It was nice to be told of a yellow flag a couple of corners ahead. Only thing I've found is during Multiplayer sometimes the app won't respond to me saying "chief" at all. Haven't had any issues in SP yet.
