1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

Thats true and a general thing about getting triple screen rendering working in UE4 based projects. Its a different approach to the existing "easy way" of how its solved in ACC currently, where only one view with a large FOV is stretched across three screen, which results in the distortions people are complaining about.

This approach renders three different views - like most other sims are doing it - with the mentioned restrictions of having shadow issues and must have three equal monitor resolutions - where the last might be not be a big stopper, as this should be the case for a proper triple screen setup anyway.

I thought about mentioned it for the devs to have a look, as I don't know if they have even considered implementing this approach up to this point to tackle the mentioned rendering issues resulting from this.

One application instance that renders to multiple display devices.
With this option, you run a single instance of your Unreal Engine application on your computer, but you set it up to render multiple separate rectangles of the scene's 3D space into different areas within a large window. You then use a technology such as NVIDIA Mosaic or NVIDIA Surround to split up that single large window and render each separate area on a different display devices.
In this scenario, the benefit of using nDisplay in conjunction with Mosaic or Surround is that you can render viewports that accurately match the physical arrangements of your different monitors, even when those monitors do not lie along the same plane. However, all viewports are being rendered by the same instance of Unreal Engine, so you can't benefit from having multiple graphics cards installed on the same computer.

I am kinda confused... at first i would consider that you can finaly handle/render 3 differents viewports with 1 UE4 instance running....

I will read and dig further but i am always cautious with UE4 functionalities.... i am quite sure it must be really taxing in ressources compared to in house engines like Kunos did with their first AC engine.

    Edit:

What's bugging me is that line: "Every nDisplay setup has a single master computer, and any number of additional computers."

If you look at the full layout you see that Cluster D always need to be connected to a Master Node, so in the end you always need at lesat 2 computers to run 3 viewports rendering. Master + Cluster

    Edit 2 :

nDisplay must be totaly forget as this is definitely a network/node render system, hence the N in nDisplay :)

You always nedd at least 1 master PC and 1 cluster pc in your network so this will never be a solution for us triple users. Just look at the configuration section of UE4 ndisplay or quick start guide and you will understand:

The fact that this thread is over 50 pages long, and still counting, says enough about the importance of triplescreen implementation imo.
