1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

@Lewisxbone - thank you for the fast and perfect service!!!

  4. 45 laps on and I still couldn't beat 1:49.8
Time to take a break and internalize Good Mr. Racer’s words.

  5. Same here, been enjoying this combo to bits myself.
Apologies if this was just recently used, but I’d love to have a go at Silverstone next week, another fast paced track with corners that seem simple but are challenging to get right.

Nice fight at the top lads. Very busy week for me but have to try to catch Mr. Totall Wrytoff. Not easy with the grand prix in the middle and a new puppy in the house..

Mr. Racer was right, trail braking is where it’s at. Still nowhere near you fast gentlemen out there but at least I’am now able to string consecutive high 1:49.xxx laps.
    Gotta practice some more!

An hour before Singapore GP starts. Who’s rooting for LeClerc?

  11. I think Lewis H might have a role to play! But no F1 spoilers please, I have to wait for a highlights show at 7pm BST this evening.:)

  12. Aye Sir! No spoilers!

I’m surprised at how fast the Ferraris are during quali yesterday. Thought their power advantage would only take them as far as Monza. Them being able to get ahead of the Mercs by that margin in a track like Singapore was unexpected.

Good job Hamilton for being able to close that 1 second gap down to .3, says a lot about how good a driver he is. Feel bad for Vettel though, looks like he’s cracking under the pressure yet again.

Here’s the flag for WHC146! What a great week, what a great combi, thank-you @Lewisxbone!
Official times to follow, however -

    @F1415182235 wins!
Many congratulations, very great lap! F1415182235 is 4/10ths clear of the pack with his 1.46.166. A well deserved win, F1415182235 and well done. We could all see the work being put over the week as you closed in on perfection. Champagne time!

In second place this week is the Timekeeper himself! Well done @Lewsixbone, 1.46.418 is very tidy work. Once again, we could feel the effort going in. Congratulations!

@Pretend racer is third in the lap times this week, with his 1.46.429 set early in the week. His time was finally only very very just slightly beaten by Lewis. But Pretend racer is once again first when it comes to providing inspiration. As I mention below, this week has been a week of improvement, I think a lot of that is down to Pretend racer, showing and telling us it should be done. @Biner got his money’s worth, we all did. A huge thanks from all of us, please keep it coming!

It was a week of improvement after improvement, so I thought we would post the final standings and the first time submitted to show improvement.
@Hugo Catarino was the biggest improver with over three secs gained, followed by @LeiF. Having set a seemingly unreachable and confidence rupturing time of 1.44 to beat, LeiF settled us all down early in the week by showing us a high 1.49 was perfectly acceptable, to start with. He went on to knock 2.8 seconds off that time over the course of the week and gave us a wild theory about a possible 1.46!

It was great to welcome back @Bobby Situkangpoles. Even better to see him get the bit between his teeth with a 2.1 sec improvement and immediately rekindle all-out war with Hugo! Spicy, we will all enjoy that!
One nil to Bobby so far.:)

Weirdly, it was good, not sad, to hear that all of the teams @StyleF1re supports, in the strange American versions of other sports, lost last weekend It meant we got him back! Sorry StyleF1re, great to see you though. Long may that continue!
Am I right in thinking @Laughing Gravy was trying quite hard to beat your time?:)

@moodyryder posted an amazingly fast time for himself this week, surprising us all enormously…. and shared the fact that he might now be qualified to lay a race track down, if your garden’s big enough. Presumably we can PM with our specs for a quote!

@Emmanuel Tubbiolo has gone and got a puppy! This will not only further reduce lap time, but have you seen what puppy wee does to plants and lawn?!!!

Finally, great to have a new driver in WHC, welcome again @ivann_11, hope you join us again next week. It was a great first time posted this week and please note, I worked my butt off to get ahead of you!!

Well driven this week everyone, thanks everyone for playing and submitting times, thanks again for your support.

On to WHC 147, I’m trying to tempt someone else back, let’s see if it works!

  15. Thank you so much for the warmest welcome back @Totall Wrytoff and thank you to our timekeeper @Lewisxbone you guys have allowed me to fall back in love with Sim Racing all over again.

Can’t believe how much I missed in life by not sim racing for over a year. Rekindling the discipline and self control needed to continue improving is definitely something I’m personally very grateful for. Interacting with the fine gentlemen (and probably ladies) of WHC again is priceless!

Oh and, what a combo this one was...

PS: is the Singapore GP embargo lifted yet?
