1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

What are you talking about?
Check out my CPU usage! Average ~75%!

I would try a 4k but I don't want it. I have a 144Hz monitor. I would like to see more framerate in ACC.

Do you think Kunos will still release a major performance update at some point?

I haven't watched your video as im on mobile data atm, but looking at you picture OSD it shows on 4.3 GHz for CPU and 75% usage. 75%usage on the overall could definitely have 1 or more cores maxing out. Have you tried overclocking your 8500k? 4.3 is rather low and 4.8 should be quite achievable easily, this will show how much the CPU at 4.3 is limiting your fps.

ACC doesn't necessarily work like this: CPU/RAM bottleneck only when I see 100 % usage. Something is clearly holding your GPU back, as can be seen by the GPU load. The 1070 Ti is running very high % just below 100 whereas the 2070 Super is running between 20 and 30 % less. This is how you can see how much better the new GPU is.

If you want more FPS, drop those mirror res and quality and also the volumetric fog.

75% of a 6 core cpu is 4.5 cores fully utilized. I think ACC as many more games can't use more then 4 cores. + another half core utilized by other things in your system. So that tells us that you are cpu limited. As Stains said, try to overclock your cpu and see if you get better performance.
If you want you can test again in hotlaping mode where cpu is not stressed as in a race with AI cars. There you must see a much different result

    Thanks mate.

Just to be sure: you don't have to manually adjust mirrors, you know? You just select GFX preset "Epic" and adjust resolution to 1920*1080 and camera (view settings in the car). Did you do it like that?

@unrealnoise to achieve more FPS, you really need to get everything out of you CPU and RAM. Please increase clock a bit more, as others said and also: make sure to run high RAM clock.

Settings wise, please reduce mirror resolution to medium and mirror quality to high. The mirrors look bad in ACC, anyways so you might as well save some performance.

The next thing after that: reduce amount of visible opponents (MP or SP doesn't make a big difference) until your GPU runs properly high load %. This setting is THE most important option for CPU usage reduction.
If you're happy with this amount of visible cars, leave it or otherwise find your compromise.

Good luck with that, report back please.

When I set everything to pre set epic the mirrors stayed medium so I changed it manually.

    Thanks guys!

    I'm running now i5 8600k on 4800Mhz. But It wasn't help a lot. My new AVG FPS is only 73 on 4800Mhz. On 4300Mhz I have a 70 FPS.

But some changes (what you mentioned) is help for me. Example: Mirror view distance: 160m
    Mirror quality: High
    Opponents visibility: 20

And after that I have more GPU usage with FPS AVG 99.

Thanks for the help. I could hardly believe it how CPU limit in ACC the framerate with these settings.

Good to hear that you made an improvement.

But please: change mirror resolution to mid. It will boost your FPS.

I have worse performance with the current version. Before I had 113 FPS AVG and now I can't get above 107.

I don't understand why not specificated more the benchmark method.

When I drive can I use the lighting and wipers?
Because the result is not same at all.

I used lights and wipers also , impossible otherwise .
