1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

It's like that every time they're working on the update. Like mentioned, 1.1 is really close and i would imagine it's not only simply add one track and few cars and liveries. It will probably include some new and missing features, lots of bugfixes etc.

How come some of you are so dependent on posts by the devs? Can you not enjoy the game(s) without them?

I like it very much to get information from the devs e.g. regarding physics/mp and so on.
    And i am only curios.
I can enjoy and i enjoy ACC a lot in the meantime ;)

The devs postings are probably the most useful and informative ones in this forum. (In my opinion, no offense)
Their contribution to this forum makes it a special place for me.

But the past taught, that the silence results from higher workloads before updates. So it's a bit sad, but fine for me.

Hi guys, sorry for the silence.
As others already said, we are preparing the 2019 update. It is a lot of content, it needs lot's of behind the visible UI core changes to make everything work and needs massive attention to not break anything.
It's a great feeling that you guys "searching" for us, but we need to focus and time is limited, sorry about that. We will be back as soon as it is possible. I'll try to do some extra posts myself.

It's always good news when they go quiet as it means something big is just around the corner! Looking forward to the 2019 update. NSX Evo, here I come :)

As far as I know we "pay them" to develop the game, not to chat with us on the forums.

I truly don' t understand this kind of comments.

These developers have a guy who is interested in what they do and in interacting with them (at least just to read them and hear what do they have to say). what the hell is wrong with that? He hasn't complained, he hasn't asked for anything.

We "participate" with this kind of comments and then we complain about the community, the lack of participation, etc. It's amazing

Yes, I agree it is better if they do both, I like to get some insight about development, physics or anything related to ACC as much as the next guy, but that's not their job.
I don't hang around any other game forums, but I find it quite weird for people to ask so often why the devs aren't participating in the forum sometimes. I mean, if they think they should stay focused on the update for the next few weeks, that's actually good for us, even though some may feel lonely.

Thanks for letting us know. You guys are doing an incredible job! I'm very impressed that such a small team of specialists can make such an amazing product. (I work in a large corporate environment and I often get depressed when I see how much time and money gets wasted due to inefficient organizational structures, corporate politics, management overhead, etc.)

The fans just love the game and are interested in hearing about updates. Of course the game developers shouldn't spend all day chatting with us, but creating great products does require some customer interaction. But I agree with your last point; a few weeks of "radio silence" before a big update is fine.
