1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

Results from my RTX 2060 Super:

    Average framerate : 86.4 FPS
    Minimum framerate : 63.9 FPS
    Maximum framerate : 132.2 FPS

@Ole77 are you sure about those 95 AVG you did with your 2060? My GPU is running very well so I don't see how a normal 2060 would be this much faster...

Well, the results I posted were "copy and paste", so I am sure about these numbers.

Assuming your question did not implicate any insinuation, i have to admit my results are not representative for 2060.

These numbers are the result of max overclocking my STRIX 2060. The GPU was running without powerlimit up to 85 °C, GPU clock at approximately 2150 Mhz and memory at approximately 15 Ghz (if I remember correctly).

    At stock values I get:

Wow, thanks for clarifying. I'll remove this test run from the results.
Running OC is fine for this test but it should be a setting that you feel comfortable with while gaming. So maybe run again with a realistic OC? :)

BTW, from your test runs and mine with the 2060 and now with the 2060 Super, it seems that there's little to no FPS difference between Super and non-Super.

Hello, I OC a bit more my CPU and GPU
    GPU : 1070 GTX G1 Gaming GPU@ 2062 Mhz Mém @8644Mhz [+70Mhz for GPU anf +520 Mhz for Mémory]
    CPU : I7 @ 4.6 GHZ
    ACC version : 1.2

Maybe in the previous test I made a mistake and choose "tempest" instead of "heavy rain"
I'm changing for a 5700 XT in a few hours...

    results fot this 1070 GTX
    min : 93 max : 105 Avg : 98.500FPS

Hey mate, thanks for the results. Please understand that I must check the entries for plausibility and your run isn't plausible. The GTX 1070 isn't twice as fast as a 1060 and it's also not 14 % faster than an OC 2060 Super. It should be about 50 % faster than a 1060 and about 10 % slower than a 2060. Your first run was spot-on with the 77 FPS AVG.

I have lost confidence in this benchmark. The relations between the GPU models are not aligned with most other benchmarks out there. I guess there's too many things to get wrong...people seem to be setting the wrong weather or time of day...wondering if some have forgotten to hit "apply" after selecting the Epic preset. That's something that happens to me sometimes, too.

I was very surprised too, and I made it three times....so I checked , and now the only mistake I made is on the time....I will do it another time

Done, and my mistake on the hour was very important, I have to apologize ;)

results are not as I said and they are worst than first time .... seems to be

    min: 50 max :93 Avg 61.7

So I will just keep questioning suspiciously good or bad results - this approach seems to work as the corrected and updated bar graph matches the other benchmarks out there, quite well:

    upload_2020-1-2_8-17-47.png

One "problem" remains, however - the 2080 TI AVG FPS is too high. Looking at the table (not yet updated), it can be seen that within this group, the FPS are in order of the CPU performance. So it might be that this test is already causing a slight CPU bottleneck. Hard to tell, IIRW the GPU % was very high at all times. Will check during the next runs, though.

Leaving the 2080 Ti out of the equation, the results seem plausible now.

Another finding: the AMD disadvantage seems to be smaller than it used to be. With some tweaking, I could achieve 80 just before I sold my Vega 64 and Schorni has reached an impressive 91 AVG FPS in the meantime. This puts the 5700 XT in line with the 2060 Super and that makes a lot of sense. They also cost roughly the same so it looks as if AMD isn't a no-no for ACC, anymore. Would be interesting to see further Polaris benchmarks - if this trend is also visible there, 580s should match up with 1060s.

And here's a new result with a stable OC of +150 MHz GPU clock (1965 MHz during the benchmark run) and +800 MHz memory clock:

    Average framerate : 91.0 FPS
    Minimum framerate : 66.3 FPS
    Maximum framerate : 140.2 FPS

I think I found an error in the method I made :
Yesterday I could'nt have the 77FPS Avg with my 1070 GTX OC, I was about 60 FPS ..... and today I received my 5700XT, so I wanted to check my 1070 GTX a last time, anf I found my 77 FPS average .......in the 2nd minute of the lap :

If I ran test for 1 mn from the pit lane, I have this result :
    Min Max Avg
    49 89 60.083
If I do it 3 times, it 's the same... but if I made a 2nd test WITHOUT going back to the pit, the results are
    Min Max Avg
    58 102 79.550

So maybe I did'n read the objectives of the test, of course I'm not cheating, just did not understood that I have to start from the pit ....

I think there's more light reflexion in the geginning....

So, definitly my 1070 GTX' resukts are :
    Min Max Avg
    49 89 60.083

Thank you for investigating. I appreciate that because I really want to keep this thread going and provide a reliable ACC GPU benchmark database.

I know you're not cheating. This test is quite complicated so it's natural that things go wrong.

You say that you run from the pit lane and that's not right. You must run in hotlap mode so you'll be starting just behind the final turn leading onto the home straight.

And here's the new benchmark of my 2nd PC, Ryzen 5 2600, 16 GB RAM, GTX 1060 6 GB (running + 150 MHz core, 116 % power limit and + 1000 MHz VRAM):

    Average framerate : 53.6 FPS
    Minimum framerate : 35.9 FPS
    Maximum framerate : 87.0 FPS

damned, so easy to understand...and too late for the 1070 GTX, 5700XT is installing

I'll work something out to make your results valid...when running the 5700 XT, work with Schorni's settings - he really makes that thing run.

I can confirm that the settings on the 2080TI are correct. Another user that also have this gpu reported very similar results. It’s been some time since I last ran, so I will check if 150 is correct. It should be in the 140 ballpark

latest patches improved the fps a lot.

  17. LeDude83

    LeDude83 Alien

Please be sure that I'm not accusing anyone of cheating. I just learned that mistakes happen very easily with this test method.

We have 4 2080 TIs in the database so far and inside that group there's a strong CPU scaling, with yours being the 2nd fastest CPU and also the 2nd best FPS. The 2080 TI group is the only group running such strong CPUs so I'm wondering if this is somehow related.

Thanks for helping to build/troubleshoot this database.
