Assetto Corsa Competizione - 2020 Generic discussion

One thing that would be interesting to add to contributes to the overall realistic ambience would be the implementation of a dust particles system. We have it at wet track conditions with water, just need to add the feature on dry dirty track with dust.
This come to me after seeing some pictures of this year Bathurst race.

 

Since the first hotfix the game doesn't crash at the start of the race, so I don't know what caused the problem but now it is fixed. Honestly I want to see some car variety, so the GT4 European series would be really nice.

This is a good suggestion,, with a slight loss of grip depending on the amount of dust on the track and therefore raised.

 

Is Kyalami that badly lit at night? going by the special event we have at the moment their still using candles.

I would prefer to see more tracks. I won't even name my favorites as long as they keep churning them out. I get tired of racing the same tracks and there are so many more out there. I wouldn't mind the GT4 cars too but we have so many cars to chose from now and you can spend a lot of time just learning to drive an individual car well.

Most importantly I hope Kunos just keeps turning out DLCs as I will gladly buy each one of them. Keep up the great work Kunos.

Wish Kunos was a fast food restaurant where I could go to the drive up window and say........Yes I would like 8 tracks, 6 cars and a small order of fries. Mmmmmmmm.

 

I'm sure you've already mastered all of them and that's the reason for you to getting bored. Including the newest one.

I get cold sweats sometimes, thinking that I'll never get solid setups for one car on all the tracks currently on offer before this sim is superseded by the next one. Not enough time to master everything..

 

I drive any track. Next I would like to see more cars from other classes.
That fast food idea is nice.

 

I think more tracks would suit the current content. It's a GT3 sim at the moment so the more tracks the better.

Although, I still can't say I've mastered any of them and every time I go to one I'm still learning. But I could see how better drivers would get board if they can master tracks much easier.

 

I have shadows completely off in the ini file but it also turns off the shadows from under the car. In AC1 this was possible, anyone know a solution?

Nice Kunos, this is a serius GT3 sim !!!

 

The AC1 cars just had a baked shadow texture below them, which didn't look that good and clipped through the ground at times. All the car shadows in ACC are real-time, so there's no solution I suppose.

The new start system is a joke:
VR and no HUD. Plum last in a CP server. I stayed to the right where I was supposed to be right behind the car ahead.
4 laps later disqualified for "wrong position at race start"

Stupid.

 

Sounds like a weird bug, can’t say I have had any issues at all though, I just follow whatever I’m told on the screen.

Maybe post a replay, would be much more helpful then an empty whinge

 

Long prosperity to the creators of this game. Even without any new content updates. As for bug fixes, and improved triple screen performance, VR, but especially the elimination of micro-freezes, the technicians are doing their best. I was wondering if it's already known whether ACC will still be SRO's official game for the coming seasons, 2020 for example.

 

I'm new to the game, just bought it yesterday. Just wanted to express how excited I am after the first experience with ACC - this game is amazing. Everything about it is great: graphics, car handling, sound, optimization (that was my biggest worry, but the game runs surprisingly smooth on my PC), and most of all, I'm impressed with clean racing, because even new and slow players seem to care about it. That's really the biggest difference in comparison to Project CARS 2 (obviously) and Raceroom, where dirty racing is surprisingly common. The rating system is really motivating. Can't wait to get home from work...
