1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    VRSS is this new technology to enhance the VR experience by NVIDIA. Developers don't have to do anything, they just have to submit their game here.

    This would be very beneficial for VR users. ;)

    Can we somehow reach out to Kunos to submit Assetto Corsa for VRSS?

    I have a couple questions about Assetto Corsa and VR. I saw it said "VR supported" when I bought it, but I have an Odyssey+ WMR headset, and I can't figure out how to get it to work in VR, but I'm getting lots of "Rift" popups, so I'm assuming its VR only works with Rift and not WMR. will this new VRSS fix that issue? Also, I have downloaded Sol and Content Manager, but I still can't figure out how to get rain so I finally gave up. Do you know if Assetto Corsa Competizione has rain and wether effects built in like Project Cars 2, and supports wmt? If it does, I'll buy it.

    I have ACC and AC and they both work with the Odyssey+ WMR headset with AC you select openVR and with ACC you install Windows mixed reality for SteamVr

    Dunno how it works, but there’s this thing you can try now.

    Edit: remove all other super sampling methods you’re using. Everything must be at 100%.

    Unfortunately, even though I have the latest nvidia driver, 442.19, i do not have the last line saying: virtual reality: variable rate super sampling.
    it seems you need to have a Turing NVidia card for this to be there.

    Tried it, doesn't seem to work. Someone in the comments of the video indicated that even though you can enable it by using these steps it doesn't have the same rendering process or something to work.

    No VRSS for us, but they could implement SPS which is a tech NVIDIA also uses to allow for the graphics to be drawn once for both eyes instead of once for each eye. In iRacing we're seeing around a 20% performance improvement with that tech. Hopefully, they can add it at some point.

    I don't think any reasonable person can expect them to go back to a title they stopped developing over a year ago just to add new shiny tech.
    Development in AC stopped long ago, don't expect anything new.

    You should have written official development, because we have had more development in AC in the last 6 month that all the other SIM put together. Development in AC is so frantic that it is hard to keep up with all the improvements and weekly new content.
