Do you mean these settings:

"lookWithSteerGain"
"lookWithSteerGamma"
"lookWithSteerSmoothing"
"horizonLock"

 

The Look Options settings are for if you want to bind controls to various "Look" functions like look left & right, up/down, behind etc. The main window is just concerned with head movement due to G forces.

Have the same question, can't find LTH & LWW in camerasettings.json also.

 

Yes just setting to 0 these:
"lookWithSteerGain" "lookWithSteerGamma""lookWithSteerSmoothing""horizonLock"
and RHM works also in cockpit visual.

 

So in my install, in the "view" screen in ACC,

-- LOCK TO HORIZON = 0
-- MOVEMENT =0
-- LOOK WITH WHEEL =0
--LWW GAMA -0
--LWW SMOTH =0

,... not in camerasettings.json ?​

 

I tried in ACC visual setting and don't works. You have to go in cfg camerasetting.json and put these four manually to 0

 

Thanks for that, but those setting don't appear in camerasetting.json.

Maybe this is a language issue ?

I own the Fanatec BMW GT2 Rim, and the left stick (the that doesnt work in ACC) also doesnt work properly here.
Look left and Look right are not working when i set them up.
Look back it does work but does not look back: it simply changes my camera setting as if i was looking from the top of the car in front.

I am not on my PC so i can't sent any screenshots now, but might later if needed be.

Other than that, great app, already using it, with the suggested default settings.

 

Change the camera setting ingame to dashcam view. Cockpit view isnt supported and causes this behaviour

 

isn't supported for the key bindings or the app at all?

If it's just the key bindings it's ok i prefer play in cockpit camera than dash.

 

It works in cockpit and dash not in helmet. Read the thread....

 

Cockpit works for the whole app, if you modify the camera json file. But i have no experience in this. It's described in the thread

 

the trackIR setting for me was already set to 1 i didnt need to make a change


I set options in the viewsetttings to 0, i thought it had an impact but shutting down the app and setting back to what it was, i dont feel any difference so i am unsure. i need to play around a bit more. I know the app is capturing movement as i can see that happening in debug mode...but not sure how to make sure it is working in game.

 

The easiest way I find to see if the app is working is to open up the Look Options in RHM and drag the pitch slider. That should move the camera view up and down quite noticeably.

 

Worked perfectly for me in cockpit view after I set these values to zero in the camera settings file.
