1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

I'm not going to update this any more. I can see that nearly everybody who responded is using dynamic weather. Thank you to those who responded.

Does your league use Dynamic Weather? Name your league with a yes or no, and I'll collate the results in this post.

Our league, RaceOnOz, doesn't use it because it results in too many storms.

  3. No, but it's their first season so they decided to keep variables to a minimum. Wait&see for the future.

OK, I won't count that as a no because of that.

To be fair we used dynamic weather for our first season and the start of season 2, recent test races however between official rounds have caused biblical floods with fairly conservative settings, this week we are running a track that last seasons had 2 hours of yellow storm floods at Silverstone, the midweek warmup races again had nearly all sessions white thunderstorms. Seems like 1.3.1x broke something in the dynamic weather. We will get it back in once it works as intended and we can make sure that weather can be fairly dynamic but not end up in pretty much red flag flood situations if it starts to rain.

Our just started league (ACC NL) will use dynamic weather for our endurance races and we won't for the sprint races.

Im part in multiple leagues here is the list
    SIMRC League: Dynamic weather
VMS GT Series: Dynamic Weather (75% dry conditions and 25% chance for rain)
VMS Endurance Challenge: Dynamic Weather (same chance as above)
PCDC League: Dynamic weather in the 90 min races and static weather in the Sprint (60min)

Done 4 races in the VMS we had 30min. rain in the Bathurst 6hour race, no rain in 4hour Laguna. Rain at the start of the 90 min GT race at Monza and no rain at Brands Hatch 60min. race.

It seems none of the SRO leagues are using dynamic weather Europe or US. They also seem to just be using optimum track conditions in qualy and race.

They probably won't run a full night sesh as it will mask the sponsors on the streams however they could do some dawn or dusk racing with a little bit of rain.. Those conditions look gorgeous in ACC and preset a further challenge for these pro..

Yes, we in RWB use it for our races, both the just finished league, our scheduled 6h Endurance this saturday, and our soon to be announced next league. Thunderstorms are easy to avoid by using Minolins awesome excel spreadsheet. Our last league race this saturday, gave us sunny practice, rainy qualy and dry start on race, turning in to a good shower, and then back to dry again. Best racing we've ever had.

    Yes and no, it depends:
Open races: no in 95% of the cases.
Championship: yes but with some tests before and always using the simracer weather option to contain unrealistic weather.
