1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

Can we get more rubber build up on cars and windscreen?

I don't know if anyone else feels the same way, but I'd like to see two things:

1)faster rubber build up on the car itself (instead of an hour, 20-30 minutes should be enough to get some rubber marks on the bodywork....at least it is when I run track days)

-2)Can we get some small amount of rubber on the windscreen? iRacing does a good job of this and by the end of a 30-45 minute race you can see some of the rubber marks and debris on the windscreen which can be removed with a windshield tear off.

    Anyone else agree?

I absolutely agree with the second point. Adds totally to the immersion. Would love to see that like in IRacing

Agree on point 2 but rubber build up is fast enough, half an hour and your car is already dirty in my experience

I think its about rubber on the Windscreen. Not on the body of the car. Until now there is only a little dust on the Windscreen and rubber on the paint after a while. We like to have rubber also on the Windscreen

Shouldn't this make so more dirt appears in the car?

Definitely agree with point two, the windscreens could do with more dirt, rubber and blemishes over time. Point one should depend on how it's IRL, like how in some conditions dirts build up faster (if it was recently wet, etc.).

I believe that's about the camera lens (or of course you could think of the windscreen and helmet visor) dirt effect, basically the lens flare. when looking towards light sources like the sun.

Please God NO!!! I have a hard enough time with the glare on a dirty windshield at the end of a stint now as it is.

There is plenty of dirt buildup if you drive longer races..

    For example..

But there are no rubber marks, or tiny stop chips for example.

Whether one likes it or not, it is realistic. And why tear-offs matter so much.

But that dirt built up should be dependent on if, at what distance and for how long you actually follow a car. As a leader not having to deal with backmarkers in a 30 minute race there should be absolute no rubber on the windshield, right?
