1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    When you put your parameters for the setup (like 3/8 ARB for example or 15000N/m suspension) the systems calculate the rod length and so on to "make" the car. But before that patch, sometimes the system calculated, with the same values, 2 completely different car so one day you understeered, and the next you oversteered with the same setup :D

    Saw this, I wonder if its linked to the auto-adjusting setups fix and people using pre-1.4.2 setups without making any adjustments to 'reset' the car(as we had to a few patches ago). and its spawning slightly into the road due to using conflicting values and causing the collision map to think its instantaneously hit something so provides the appropriate 'bounce-back'. It would be interesting to know if they were using 'old' setups or not.

    Looks like 1.4.2 brought the grid spwan bug back. Latest cp race was a mess as well, several cars flying through the air, damaging other cars...

    Hi all

    Question as per the title tbh. Steam did an update today which was 500mb ish. Then when it finished that it did another update which was around 6Gb! Take it that's not normal?

    I was worried it was reinstalling the game. Not done any laps since the update but I did quickly check and all my ratings etc are still intact. I'm presuming just steam being weird.

    Dunno when the last time was you played the game, but there were a couple of 400-ish mb updates and also a 4gig one (I think that was 1.3.10 iirc). That might explain it.

    The Porsche flip in the video was with the standard aggressive setup...
    The car took damage so I went into the pit.
    Repair done and the tyres just exploded in the pit all the time.
    I couldn't leave the pit anymore without the tyres exploding.

    I watched that video but I was confused by the -2 for 2.5 and +2 for the 2.0 , I have a CSL v1.1 I think it's more similar to the CSW 2.5 (so drift -2/-1) correct?
