XB1 FOV Settings ACC / Xbox

Anyone knows you I can change field of view in the game?

 

No it doesn’t look like theirs an option for it.
Also no seat adjustment either, I need a booster seat in the Audi.
I’m actually quite surprised that we don’t get them 2 things in the game.

 

And I was upset that when I changed my FOV for AC on my XBOX it wouldn't save the setting, so I had to adjust it again at the start of every session.

Apparently they've been talking to my dad. "You want to cry? I'll give you something to cry about...."

 

I think the fov has something to do with performance, like even on call of duty you can’t change the fov on console but you can on pc

Attach a keyboard and press F2 twice. This will bring up a menu and show you how to move seating position.

 

You might be a genius, thanks for letting us know this.

 

yep external keyboard and F2 is the only solution...

 

Or if F2 doesn't work

Camera Move Forward = Ctrl + Up
Camera Move Backward = Ctrl + Down
Camera Move Up = Shift + Ctrl + Up
Camera Move Down = Shift + Ctrl + Down
Camera Move Left = Shift + Ctrl + Left
Camera Move Right = Shift + Ctrl + Right

 

I cant get the actual to FOV change with it but i can get seat/camera movement to work.

I think theres no FOV settings on console because wider FOV means more stuff to render. And consoles can barely run ACC as it released.

This is one of the reasons I got a pc a while ago.
Still think ACC is the best sim on console when it comes to the actual driving physics and FFB but theres definitly a price to pay.
I hate to be “that guy” after always being a console user, but for simracing youre just better off on a PC af this moment in time.

 

I’ve got it on pc and got to say it’s far better on there. But I have a few people on console but it’s piss poor as you can change so much on f1 on console they need to sort this out on console because I can’t recommend it to anybody at the moment.

 

The difference is that f1 is far less taxing on your system.
Because f1 doesnt have to perform as many calculations on driving physics it can use that computing power for other things.

You really cant compare those two.

I played Dirt Rally, GTS, PC2, AC, and ACC on my Playstation all of them were pretty smooth except for ACC.
Now Im playing ACC in VR on my PC and it runs and looks three times as good as on my PS4 Pro.

 

Of course you can with adjustability in the fov. Driving physics isn’t the problem it’s the fov. Acc is meant to be simulation I know that f1 is arcade but to be a simulation acc is meant to be be then thee should be more adjustments on pc it’s fantastic but console version isn’t worth the money if I know now back when I bought it then I wouldn’t of wasted my money.
