1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

See, this is the problem with having sentient AI. In most games it's just "Hello AI, computer here. I've just put a car right in front of you, copy?". And then you don't have these problems.

Why pay extra for a tool which could even contain a virus/trojan? At least the anti virus software is triggered by this tool.

    Hey guys,
Does anyone know how to see ride height in Motec ?
I couldn't find the channel for it.

  6. If you go in Nils channel, there is a video about motec.
In its description you can find a pdf that contains the instructions to build everything you need.
Anyway Im not sure it is 100% reliable, and you have to make the channel yourself.
It is the only way I know.

There is no channel for ride height. Do forum search, there has been a couple of threads to this regarding.
You need to do math in MoTec to get this.

For the record, I'd love to see this too - really frustrating not to be able to use this when using a pad.

If it helps you any the real teams don’t have this data either. It’s not in the real world so it’s also not in the virtual

    Hello,

Simple question I'm just starting sim racing and really loving ACC. I have read that you should join a league if you want to improve faster and improve race craft.

Simple question, should I know all ACC tracks before joining? Right now I know maybe half of them.
Because I still need a lot of time to learn a new track.

In every league there will be a calender which tells you which track comes next. So you have around 1-2 weeks time to prepare for the track. So you dont need to learn all tracks before you join, you will learn them while racing in a league.

The benefit of those leagues is that everyone is on the same page, they have essentially weeded out the *****les. Racing with people that are better than you will improve your skills. It's not guaranteed though. If your a long way off their pace you won't even see them on track.

I think you could just race the tracks you know. There are guides on how to break down a track and get fast. It's a process.

Yea but real teams have engineers and i'm no setup god lol.
I'm not saying that they should give us what is not present IRL btw.
I just wanted to test my theories thats all.

    Right now I'm sitting at:
    Brands Hatch: 1:30
    Nurburgring: 2:02 - 2:04
    Monza: 1:58
    Misano: 1:XX

I'm only feeling "competetive" on Brands hatch, because I feel like I know this track and make less mistakes.
After trying online for some bit thats what I'm thinking that I'm too far away from there pace to just follow them.

Right now I'm using the hotlap videos on youtube as a guideline for learning the tracks and trying to get in the range of 8 to 10 seconds with my race pace against AI.

Also I'm fairly certain I will change the 720s to something differnt, because I feel like I get these times down in a differnt car.

@croh - Yesterday (or was it sunday?) at MrGits stream he pointed it out multiple times: ACC begins to shine when you do races >30mins. Single lap time is nice to know but consistence, awareness what the others are doing, tyre and fuel management, the whole stuff it what makes this sim so awesome - track knowledge is basic stuff. And the best is to start to race the AI and then MP. Have fun ;)

The times I posted here are not my Hotlap times (Brands Hatch 1:29, Nurburring: 2:01) these are my race pace times. So times I'm able todo in 15 to 30 minutes races. Still, thank you for the tip.
I will start to race a lot more against AI / MP and try to learn new things this way. In 45 minutes races and try to decide on a new car with which I will stick with. Simply I like the 720s but it is missing something.

Mainly learning awarness, pressure managment and consistency.

That's another thing I thought track knowledge is Basic stuff, so this should be on a good level before starting to race.

But to quote Jimmy Broadbent: " Sometimes we [simeracers] are allowed to have fun".

it doesn’t really matter: usually leagues (at least the ones big enough) have multiple tiers so you will end up with people around your pace.
If you want to improve your laptimes there are multiple track guides, notably from Unleashed Drivers on youtube which I can’t recommend enough.
Personally can’t be as fast as their hotlap times but it helps with getting references and being consistent.
