Assetto Corsa Competizione - 2020 Generic discussion

There are over 4 times as many playing ACC now as there were last summer. The issue he is having is lack of GT4 players not lack of online ACC players.

 

They should show in the server list the number of GT3/GT4 cars present, nothing sucks more than coming to a server with a gt4 and seeing you're alone in class.

Or an other possibility is to have the admin able to limit the number of cars in a class (e.g a 30 slots server could have 20 gt3 slots and 10 gt4) and show it in the UI.

I had my most fun races in gt4 , I really think this DLC is the best value for money in the sim racing world maybe ever, I just hope there will be more multiclass in public server and not being obligated to go to a gt4 only server to have a race and not be alone.

 

I must be very lucky because I've found that most people are pretty decent and I'm not getting taken out by people, lots of close door to door stuff with very little issues.. I don't get to race that often though. Last weekend I went online with a GT4 and I was a mess, even so the GT3 cars coming up behind me practised caution and got around me just fine.

Luckily all those warning messages are off to the side in VR, I don't see half of them.

 

The problem is less the messages and more the people who get into arguments over a wreck, and they just ***** back and forth in the ingame chat to eachother blaming one another.

 

So who is gonna be the person that does the tests to figure out the brake pad udpate?

 

@pankykapus Regarding the change in 1.5.3: Corrected mandatory pitstop rules for GT4 championship. Will this also be avaiable in single player custom race weekend in a future patch? At the moment there is still a mandatory tyre change....

 

Well considering they didn't give any more details i'd say the changes are very slight.

 

As far as I can evaluate this in a custom Championship the tyre change is not mandatory any more, but all the AI changes the tyres....

Well if you quit (like most quitters) then your SA takes a hard hit.
If you race on and get on with it, then the SA hit is less, and you most likely will battle with another through the race.

I'm not saying you do it, but I see people quit after a little spin with no damage.
They are not racers.....they are lap perfectionists and will happily run all race at the front unchallenged, but won't/can't race with other cars as their skill is in lapping not racing.

Going off topic here, but I love a good racer online, impossible to pass and they do so much right. The hotlappers though, they crack under pressure, spin, lose the lead, quit.
