1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

Here's what I got for now; max stiff front spring, 70 for the rear.
Unfortunately my wheel is starting to fail, so this might be my last hotlap challenge.

  2. Until you get your new wheel... surely?

Look after your hardware everyone, there seems to be something in the air!:(

I have no idea what I'm doing for car setup.
Went with mediums and raised pressure to 20 cold.
I have no tire temp or anything to really see what's going on with my tires as I drive, am I missing something?

It's a very fun combo, I need to figure out how to make the steering less sensitive, and if possible add a little grip in the rear.

Finally ordered my Sim-Lab P1-X rig:

It shows as out of stock due to currently high demand and high customer backlogs, but I was able to go through the order process anyway and, hopefully, it will arrive soon. I did not go with the ceaper and less rigid (although really small differences according to customers) GT1-Evo as I did not want to regret anything.

Now I am broke - like really broke.:confused::confused:

Used a Frankenstein setup, based on @Pretend racer's setup, but with less camber at rear, plus @F1415182235's harder front springs. Thank you both for the setups!

Today I bought ACC, first impression is that sound and FFB are better than classic AC, but I suffered with that 30fps and a considerable input lag. I think I'll wait for software updates.[IMG]

Improved despite a huge slide in turn 11. More to come.
Another hybrid of @Pretend racer 's set-up, thank-you, with a lower and softer rear end.
Although, I think the correct tyre pressures helped the most.:)

  10. @Rod100 - you did a few laps then.:eek::)

    Nice session!:D

And before this session there was another one with 13 laps. I have to practice much more to compensate for my poor driving.

Nice purchase....I have the GT1 evo and the difference from my previous omega GT rig is night and day....I had to buy a few extra pieces of profile for various additional mounting solutions but once you have an 80/2o rig, there’s no going back....looking forward to a picture of your new set up when it’s all come together.

If you’ve not already ordered them with the rig....I’d highly recommend a pack of their cross cable binder blocks, perfect for tidy and easy cable management with a few small cable ties!

I sadly sold my old MX5 today, it was only a fun weekend car and having converted the garage into a gym during lockdown I couldn’t justify keeping it, to watch it rust away on the drive....so it’s gone to a couple of young hoodlems who want to turbo/track day it so at least someone else will have fun with it now.

So having paid the wife tax on my proceeds, I’m left with around £700 for a sim rig upgrade....can’t decide between heusingveld sprint pedals (have fanatec v3s ATM) or an ultra widescreen monitor....decisions decisions.

Hey man, nice to hear your thoughts. I currently own a Speedmaster rig, where the V3 pedals and the CSW 2.5 are the absolute maximum in terms of rigidity - it cracks and squeaks. The thing with all the extras was the main reason why I choose the P1 over the GT1. To mount the Simucube to the GT1 I need the additional Simucube bracket + the rig front extension for extra stiffness. That left me with some additional expenses where I felt why not just go the easiest path...
Also, I ordered the Clubsport Shifter mount, Heusinkveld handbrake mount, button box holder (which one is still on my to do list), heel rest, cup holder and yes, the cable blocks ;). That should cover all my needs.

Sorry to hear about your car, I am in the same situation. But selling it is the way to go, like you say. Letting it rust is wrong and money lost.
If I can give my 5 cents, I would go for the ultra wide. I just made the switch from 21: to 32:9...never going back in simracing. So, that would be my recommendation. Sure, if you own a monitor that is already really good, I'd go pedals first.

I messed up lap 3 which was 1.5 seconds slower than any of the other 9 laps

Despite my initial reaction of 'Oh No' upon seeing this car, in the rain, as this weeks challenge I have actually really enjoyed it! :D

Hey guys, I sincerly apologize for my absence. I've started a new job in the beginning of july and I simply run out of time to race properly. The playstation doesn't even get warm  Not sure how the weeks ahead going to look but I'll probably be pretty low profile. I peek in from time to time but as far as participation goes.....complicated.....

All good laps this time around, and I've achieved my personal goal of a sub 15:30 run, so I'm well pleased. :D

I'd have to string 10 perfect (for me) laps together to improve again. With the F1 and BTCC on live tomorrow that'll probably be my lot for this one.

Took me a while to get back into this, but yeah it's good fun. I tried really hard to make the mediums work but gave up in the end.
Sooo hard to work out where to get back on the power too, in quite a few corners. I think I've got most of them figured out now but as usual my problem is consistency. At least 5 tenths floating around to be grabbed, but I'll be damned if I can grab them all on the same lap.
Awesome time @Pretend racer! Oh and yeah, my best sector times are very like yours, so I'd put serious money down that the guy with the 37.966 in the final sector had some assistance from the armco :D
