1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    Not that I know of.

    All I can do do is record the stint via the share button.

    Then review the footage in the capture gallery on ps4 dashboard.

    Apologies to @Rod100 for missing his entry in the last update.
    Some massive improvements since Thursday! One in particular.
    @SlowGrayAudi , after a couple of good questions, improves by nearly 2.5 seconds and leaps from P32 to P9!
    @Rod100 moves up to 17th and @Laughing Gravy takes another half sec off his time. Was that in response to the promised return of his self-professed nemesis?

    @SlowGrayAudi has again improved in great chunks to jump onto the top step and lead by a considerable margin. In P2, it is suddenly looking decided unsocially distanced around @mike reynolds. Positively cosy! @TinPeach has put the time in to bring his time down and is much closer. @moodyryder slots in a mostly tidy set of laps, by the sound of things, and goes into straight into third and just 8/10ths off.

    All closing up, just over 24hrs to go!

    This challenge has been fun. Initially frustrated with the Aston but got more to grips with it after some tuning and changing my approach a little.

    Tha Lambo is tricky to drive on the limit. Really needs a good balance of throttle input and lots of patience through turn 6.

    Thanks for the 'good time', still a lot to learn from the veterans. Only one year in sim racing, and I can't practice very often. I noticed there was a lot of time on turn 7, just not sure if I'm near optimum trajectory. Tomorrow I'll try a last run on the Lamborghini, then jump into the next challenge.

    @Totall Wrytoff , nice improvement! Those weeks I'm able to practice more we usually have a good competition.

    No problem at all! Its been a lot of fun.

    Im by no means a veteran. I only got my wheel last year and didnt really play any true sim titles until i got it.

    I grew up playing the original GT back in the 90s and have played them ever since. But once i discovered AC and Project Cars it was game over for me. I havent touched GT since haha.

    I just watch a lot of racing so i try to pick up on what the drivers do etc. Especially different lines, corner speed, entry trajectory etc. Its crazy how many lines you can take into a corner. But usually slow in fast out always seems to prevail.

    I think we can always learn a lot from each other. We should definitely try to help each other more so that we can all improve.

    I know im the new guy here but i definitely wanna participate more regularly!

    I use second into the final corner, its a very late downshift. Like right before i tip it in

    At last a car with hardly any setup options! :D And yet I struggled to know what to do with it. I ended up undoing the toe adjustment and leaving a tiny bit more camber on the front, but even that may have been the wrong move. In any case, almost all of the time to be had in this one is down to line and driver skill, and I'm amazed at GG's time. Granted, I didn't realise it was actually possible to go that far left at T1, but the braking is slightly compromised there I think, so it's not like he gains the whole second on me there ;):p (Best guess, that's worth 3 or 4 tenths. Anyone compare lines?) I got to a low 37, and thought I might be able to get a 36. Tried for ages and kept binning it somewhere, mainly the final corner :mad:... On one lap, while my PB was a 37.03, I binned it on the last corner with a delta 0f -0.3... sob. Anyway, having finally achieved a high 36, I'm done :) Nice combo btw!

    First of all, I hate paved runoffs. In my opinion they should just put gravel next to ANY white line and we would not have all those stupid discussions about off track. This is really a matter that the big bosses of racing forced on themselves and now we got frustrated and confused drivers around the world that don't now if they can cut a specific corner or not - brainless discussion :mad:. The same can be seen with AC on the Red Bull Ring, going wide at T1 is not considered a cut - just why...
    Anyway, yeah, goind wide allows you to go for a wider line overall, therefore you can carry more speed out of the corner. It can improve your lap time by 0.2 - 0.3 seconds. And yes, brake performance is better on the right side, but acceleration outvalues braking performance in this case.

    Congratulations to @GoodGame.eXistenZ , new world record holder. No need to justify the driving line, you've got to get the best lap and therefore use the track as best you can. In this case, brilliantly exploited in my opinion.
