1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    Hello!

I am looking to buy a new PC in UK to play Assetto Corsa Competizione. For now it's to play 1080p at 60 fps.

The limitation is that it has to be compact, which limits the options and it makes the PC more expensive.

    I thought of this PC
    https://www.ukgamingcomputers.co.uk/electron-custom-mini-gaming-pc-1

    Ryzen 3700X, Nvidia 2060, 16GB RAM 3000Mhz

I know there are new ryzens coming up, but if they are not available before I buy them I don't mind that.

The thing is that I want to make sure that runs above 60fps in EPIC at 1080p and that it does run the game for the years to come if more upgrades are made to the game.

    What do you think?

The RTX 2060 will be ok for 1080p (I run on a GTX 1070 which is 20% slower than the 2060 and I have almost everything on epic 60fps 1080p), the CPU is by far enough for ACC, if there is the option to upgrade something look for maybe a 2070.

The limiting factor for epic settings are the 6GB of the graphics card. A 2060 Super with 8GB would be better, but it is not available as choice for that config.
There is nothing else in that price range I would recommend. The AMD 5700XT is good, but ACC prefers Nvidia cards and the next better one in that configurator would be the 2070 Super, but at a cost of additional 233£... :(

hm? it is at 270£ (300€) at this shop

regarding his goals, I don't think so.

A last note, I don't know the usual prices in the UK, so I can't tell if this shop has good value for the price. At least for Germany the prices would be very expensive.
I noticed the system SSD a 240GB Sata drive and thought, why such a cheap, slow and tiny SSD? Then I looked up a 1GB NVME which I got at under 88£ (97,80€) included all tax and found the cheapest one in that configurator at additional 190£ (211€)... Additional to the one selected!
    I was shocked!

I thought of that, but it's more than 200 pounds extra, and if 2060 runs it in EPIC should be enough. If in 4 years I want to upgrade the graphics card to play in 4K I can think of a Nvidia 4060 or something like that.

Does the speed of the RAM matter? It's 3000Mhz.

Now they have the ryzen 5600X in stock, so I think it's the perfect processor for ACC

ACC reacts very positively to fast RAM.

    Would 3200 be enough?

Yes, should be enough but Ryzen 5000 series now can go up to RAM @4000MHz :D
