1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

Barcelona was moved from B(3) to regular C in 2020 BOP. BOP season and categories are shown on the top of the garage screen when you load into a session.

It’s very possible... Though I was pushing for a 44.1 on in 33 degree track temp before on 12 Ltr fuel and after update fairly easily went 43.9 on 25 Ltr fuel in same temps and a lap that had a decent mistake costing 0.2

The letters have no meaning in BrGT, there they simply follow chronological order, not the downforce categorization.

So where would I find actual data on what vehicles come under which category of BOP?

Either for real world or ACC?

    Google doesn't provide much information.

  10. Thats proprietary SRO info.

  11. Hello there,
Since the 12h endurance race in my league is coming up and it seems like every team is picking the aston martin I was wondering if the aston martin is a little bit broken or op on this track.
I tried the aston as well for this race and i was able to get into 2.17.5 times after three laps although I've never drove the aston before. I am more the Porsche guy.
For this race my team chose the mclaren and i have to work really hard to get into 2.17.xxx territory and the mclaren is a really fast car.
Many drivers are able to do 2.16.xxx times for pre qualifiers. Which i think is more alien territory.

Just wondering if the aston is broken on spa.
And if someone else is noticing this.
    Cheers!

Some cars have advantages on some tracks and disadvantages on others.

  13. This was discussed again a moth or so ago. AMR is indeed has advantage at SPA after BOP.

It was funny at yesterday CP server how there fast 24 Astons and 6 cars of other manufacturers.

However imho at the limit, the Audi is still fastest at Spa with AMG second and Lexus third. (By limit I mean doing 2.15.x)

No, its not OP, its a nice car to drive so people can be comfortable in it quicker then some others. The difference in potential between absolute fastest and absolute slowest car wouldn't be more then a second, most much less then that.
Fastest times for spa would also be in the 2:15.xxx range as long as its not too hot

It does not. There are at least 3-4 cars that have an outright pace advantage over the Aston at Spa.
It's an easier car to drive than most, and as a result easier to be pushed to the limit, so in a field with average drivers it has a more likelihood of being picked and perform better than some of the other cars people generally struggle with.

I'd appreciate if you weren't so comfortable in affirming information being extracted from nether regions.

  17. Sorry my bad. I searched for that thread for confirmation but could not find it. It started as a double post rant by someone and it might have been moved.

I think this is an inherent problem of simracing esports in general. When you are able tochose the car for every race you tend to take the fastest or at least what you think is the fastest.

A funny story from my Forza times:
There was a hotlap competition and everybody took the car of the current leaderboards #1. It wasn't even the quickest car, but what everybody thought it was.
So some other drivers got betterresults with another car and suddenly this new car flooded the leaderboards.

  19. I am actually the opposite. I have raced in a few leagues in my time (GT Legends/GTR2/P&G3), and what I enjoyed doing the most was taking a slower/middle of the road/just plain difficult car, and surprising everyone. I am not the fastest kid on the block, so it did not work all of the time, but it was immensely satisfying when I pulled it off.

If I decide to buy ACC, you will see me driving a large number of different cars online.
