1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    Hi. The requests were considered but those affecting actual MFD functionality are discarded because 3rd-party requests are not to take priority over actual gameplay use set up that way by design.
    About the rest, it is currently not planned unfortunately.

    Hi there,
    I have got a couple of questions, firstly the gapAhead and gapBehind seem to always return 0, is there any specific context in which these would work? Secondly is there any way to get the name of the server the current user is on?

    Thanks but....
    I looked in the document but I can't find what is the data concerned

    It is not available. You can only figure it out "manually", for example by starting a timer and then checking how much ingame time progressed after a given amount of "real" time.

    Maybe we have a misunderstanding here, but you have the fields:

    gf->rainIntensity
    gf->rainIntensityIn10min
    gf->rainIntensityIn30min

    If you want it in "real" time, yes, as @expor said, you have to implement some sort of a timer.

    Yes, I use rainIntensity, rainIntensityIn10min, rainIntensityIn30min

    I cannot get any good data out of kerbVibration.. Im trying to use SFX-100 motions but curbs just feel bad and do not match the curb feeling of direct drive wheel. Any ideas how to implement motion for curbs (as per wheel hitting the curb)?

    @Kunos: The grip information is translated in the shared memory (using the language choosen by the current user). I think it is preferable, that the values in the shared memory will be always in English, otherwise an app must implement all translations, which is error prone.

    Not quite following that remark. It's just an enum in shared memory right, what translation is already done by who?

    The "trackStatus" field is not an enum (which would be perfect), but a wchar field. And it contains a language specific string. For example "Optimum" in English will be "Optimal", when the user interface language is set to German.

    BUT: Thanks to your question a took a second look and there is a second field named "trackGripStatus", which indeed is an enum. Problem solved. Thanks again.

    @Kunos: Maybe, I found a bug. The maxFuel field in the Static file returns 125 for 720s @ Paul Ricard, although ingame the fuel capacity is restricted to 109 litres. Didn't try other car combinations, though, but at least this one is not correct.

    Can anyone else verify this bug? The "current sector index" field in the graphics page is not always correct.

    When i drive half a lap to reach the second or third sector, then teleport back into the pit, and then start a new lap from there, the sector index field stays at the old value until i cross the next sector border.

  18. TheBigO

    TheBigO Racer

    Isn't it correct? You did not finish the lap.

    As i said, when i am in my next lap, it *still* shows the old value from before teleporting. But "current sector index" suggests that it holds the value of where i *currently* am.

    considering that teleporting back to pits isn't possible in real life why would "current sector index" cater for it?
