1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    I have been toying around with setting up a Rookie league for people new to Sim Racing in the hopes that we could have a friendly environment where everyone could learn from each other and not have to worry about people getting mad when a mistake is made. I have asked a few people about it and haven't received too much interest on it though.

    If a group of like minded driver can be made, by like minded, I mean individuals more interested in racing than winning, meaning looking for a pleasant track experience with fellow SIM racer, more to race with them than to proove who is faster, then that group will have my full attention.
    Different skill levels can always be manage by having faster racers driving slower car, but there is nothing that can be done about attitude.
    I like racing for the art of it, I enjoy a great passing with respect more than a win. I am for just enjoying the all expereince, I prefer to drive like it is expensive to fix the car I am driving. Sure accident will happen but they should remain (rare) accident.
    I am sure than in most leagues fierce competition and finishing ahead will but the main goal, I am looking to take part in an other type of online events, if this make sense to anyone, let's be in touch.

    I don't think public servers are a good choice, if you're taking it kind of serious. I think public servers are for the casual players doing some bumper cars.
    I'm no alien and I don't want to be one. I love racing, but it has not to be too serious... I mean, I take this serious, but there is a point when it changes from fun to work... I like cups/series/leagues, but for me it's a hobby. So if there is a race next week, I will practice some hours, talk about the setup with my team mates and give the best I can in the race... and I will be happy finnishing somewhere like 5th, 7th... but having had fair, thrilling racing action and fights for positions in the midfield. That's all ok, as long as I can get up from my race rig after the race with my shirt wet from sweat, taking a shower to calm down the adrenalin in my body... that is virtual racing for me! It's not about winning, but the racing itself.
    I hope there will be some amateur cups/series/leagues with people with the same attitude like me: racing serious, but having fun!

    I agree there, Dodger77. As log as I don't have to answer to any sponsors and all, I'd rather have a good hard fight for 7th possition, than taking 1st with no fight.
    If I was in a sponsored team, that would obviously be different and all focus will be on winning , but for the shear fun. Fight>possition.

    Ive run a league on GT5/6 for 3 years, weve had enough of GT though and 12 out of the 26 guys on the PS3 have joined me on PC, we are waiting for the multiplayer to hit atm, the league web site is www.TheAutomotiveMayhem.com , ive not updated it since we left GT6 but soon as Assetto goes multiplayer i will be updating the site and recruiting a few guys.

    i am still a rookie/amateur driver but it is slowly improving i am already beating some lap times on hot lap mode. but where i still got to improve with is taking the curves, it is so hard for me! but if i will keep racing (and do my home work:rolleyes:) it will get better and better :)
