1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

Do you find your autoexposure works well for cockpit and external cams? particularly white cars, even the default PP massively overexposes them (min autoexposure is set to 1.2 i think and needs to go down to 0.7ish to be OK) clipping all of the details on external cams, but no matter how you set the target, either the cockpit will end up underexposed or the whites in external cams will be clipped. Im guessing the custom curves in sweetfx might allow you to fix this. e92 m3 in white is a nice test as the hood has nice contours which get destroyed by the default PP at 13.00. either way, needing such a wide autoexposure range will lead to too many undesirable exposure transitions in cockpit view, so my thinking is custom curves or white level in sweetfx is the only solution (separate PP for cockpit and external would probably work too).... if so then i might have to take the plunge and start using sweetfx, or just disable PP altogether, although what I have now is better than default PP, but it seems crazy to have whites clipped, its a shame yebis doesnt offer some of the aforementioned functions like sweetfx.

sweetfx have a usefull function that shift levels, so i can higher white limit to bring back detail at high light, btw the key for realism is imperfection, and for my pp set i leave a little burning at higher level as u can see
nur 16.00 radent light white car (lucky you i was testing a white car....)

^^for sure a little burning is fine, that looks perfect, if that config still looks perfect in cockpit view then sweetfx really is the only way!

i noticed that clouds are always one side on the skybox...and preatty always in front of the sun...so made horizon white when facing clouds...personally i like it but i know that can be bothering...

i know that i can lower a bit min exposure but i prefer a overexposed image to a f...g kick in autoexposure...

yeah it looks like what you have is a nice balance, going to test sweetfx later, am convinced a better sky can be achieved and obviously can fix my whites :)

edit: another thought, perhaps the job can be done in yebis, on TV's white level is usually labeled as "contrast" and black level as "brightness", not sure if lowering conrast in yebis would have the desired effect (gut feeling is probably not but you never know)

tried your filters, sweetfx and tried a few of the other sweetfx functions but couldnt find a way of bringing back details lost in overexposed whites.

testing at 13:00 with default weather inis with m3 e92 white, not the end of the world though, fairly happy with the autoexposure

Just pp and sweetfx, so probably not getting ideal results, pretty happy with what I have now though without editing other files

    thanks for sharing
so many files, clearly the ideal solution to saving the white details is in one of them, maybe HDR or lighting inis
