1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

Question to T500RS and other Thrustmaster wheel users.

    Hello there.

As a relatively new T500 user, after converting from G25 I'd like to ask - do You guys know if it's somehow possible to keep the wheel detected under the Windows controllers even when its plugged in, but not powered up (as in Logitechs)?

I don't use the wheel for racing sims only and I'm not quite happy with the fact that I have to get it out of the box, power it up and wait for auto-calibration every time I just want the thing to be detected but not going to use the wheel itself, as I need functioning pedals only.

It's certainly a software issue, as my old G25 allowed me to do so and I'd love to use the T500 the same way. Doesn't seem to be possible with standard software out of the box, though?

    Cheers.

I don't quite understand, you don't want to use the wheel at all only the pedals? Why didn't you get standalone Fanatec ClubSports or something? My TX is dead unless powered up and it does the calibration every time. If you don't need the wheel, get a USB converter and just plug the pedals in?

Read more carefully. He uses it for other games than driving too where he only needs the pedals.

But yeah, I think I've seen an adaptor somewhere to make the pedals standalone.

Yep, racing pedals actually do the acceptable job of controlling the rudder in flight sims, which are my other main gaming hobby. So I need the whole thing to be "visible" by the Windows, but I don't need the actual wheel to be powered up and calibrated, as I need just the pedals. That's how G25 worked and I was unpleasantly surprised Thrustmaster operates different way.

I wanted to avoid buying any additional hardware, as the T500 was quite pricey, but if there's no other way, I'll read up on this RJ12 adapter.

Well in all fairness I misread finnish sentences fairly often. Even when I'm not tired.
