1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    Just for curiousity, what happens if the MGU-H is set to recharge and the battery is full? Will it switch to MOTOR automatically or is the energy wasted (not that easy with generators)?
    Question applies to both AC and RL.

    Orange : Boost level.
    Blue : Instantaneous energy % being deployed.
    Purple : State of the 4MJ deployement limit per lap. This bar will reset every time you cross S/F line.
    Green : Battery charge level. Capacity is 4MJ.

    I tried this SF15-T yesterday - it's a kind of F40 with rocked engine... or maybe more like 'how would F40 be like if it was a spaceship?'.

    Thanks for good info... Modern F1 cars are too complicated, i miss those days when there was only steering wheel, pedals and gear stick on the cockpit. :)

    The powertrain is state of the art, absolutely fantastic, great step for AC.
    But... anything regarding tire pressures being a bit on the high side? A minimum of 17(cold) at the rear results in over 30 at 100 degrees.

    Also, the aero app shows the car in a negative rake (and the front end is already as low as it will go).

    Fantastic!! I was waiting for a Ferrari F1 car, but honestly I never tought it will be a new regulation's car, and with all these complex systems simulated too.

    Really thanks for doing this car and all the info in this thread. I always thought this new F1 cars where boring from outside but can't imagine how fun are to drive from inside. Now I will be forced to fully understand how the ICU works and enjoy more the F1 in general. This car can give us hundreds of hours of fun only hotlaping testing all combinations of parameters.

    since even hotlap is only 70%, how about a max deployment setting? OR, maybe better, could the overtake button be used for 100% deployment? that seems realistic but ive noticed the past iracing updates theyve made it less powerful on their car but i dont know if its to do with drivability/balancing/authenticity.

    How to achieve ~280km/h cornering at T1 Silverstone GP with SF15-T? The turn in seems weak for this corner. Any setup tips?

    What MGU-H mode did you use?
    If it was battery, then switch to motor. Should raise (close) to 100%.

    as i read aris post, its calibrated to about 70% maximum overall deployment to make sure theres enough energy for an entire lap.

    MGU-H energy is addional, so it can be used either to charge the battery (or better said, part of the 70% comes from MGU-H and the rest from the battery) or 70% battery energy plus the MGU-H energy, giving you 90-100%.
