1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

Thanks, good to hear, my 1.28,7 also was with about 50l fuel, mediums and moderate ERS settings.

In addition, it could be, that it depends on the (ICE) engine mapping, which we can't alternate.

Edit: The SF15 is very nice, love that thing. Only didn't get the point of shifting the MGU-H energy to the battery yet.
    Always left it in motor.

Also, on Spa you can't do a lap in hotlap mode, would run out of juice before the last straight.
There adjustments to the mappings would help, because Balanced High doesn't work best either.
So I keep switching between them, which is kind of tedious.

Would also love if we could save the MGU/Engine settings within the setup, just like the brake bias.
I sometimes use slightly more aggressive settings during quali than race.

i like how kunos have managed to simulate everything i hate about current F1, and put it in their 2015 car.
they've done a great job, but please make a car Pre KERS/DRS, and all that BS that infected F1. Maybe something from 2006 or a V10 from 2000.
    There's a massive book on the F2000.
After doing 50 laps at the A1 ring in the SF15 playing around with all the crap that distracts from actually driving the damn thing on the limit, i got bored and went back to that F2001 williams F1 mod.
i totally understand why people might like it, because its like 'reality', but for me its all the worst aspects of real F1....
car itself drives pretty good though!

That's the thing, part of the fun is managing all the stuff and trying to master the challenge.

But if you don't like it, then take the 2013 F138, last V8 generation but with DRS.

Balanced high + hit KERS button in selected places. It's easier than switching modes and it's good enough for 1.48.0 on meds.

1.7.1 gave me better top speed, on par with what last years Ferrari could do, well done.

I still think tire pressures and the the aero app showing negative rake is a bit wrong(more front ride height options please)however.

Sort of what I tried, but didn't get below 1:50 yet.

Spa with the SF-15T is a bit tricky for me. On Barcelona GP, I could break Raikkonen's time easily within the ~15-20 laps I drove (didn't quite get Vettel's though, a few tens missing), but on Spa I'm having a hard time (both with softs and meds).

    Edit:
No idea what the super-softs are good for. Maybe at Monaco, but with AC's tyre physics, I think the rears would just overheat.
In reality that mainly works out due to the track surface being a bit different, iirc.

i would, but still have to fiddle around using KERS...
and unfortunately because there's no multi function display, all you have in the F138 is the LED's telling you how much KER's you've used - unless there's an App showing % somewhere, which would be useful...

    The gear indicator app.

Sorry, forgot that 2013 cars had KERS.

But KERS SOC and remaining time per lap is shown in the gears app.
Green is SOC, purple remaining use per lap, resets at S/F line.

Super softs are okay around Imola, but have to be managed over a stint.

Today i made a short 7 lap race on Silverstone after reading the ERS explanation of the F15.
Yesterday I was the last of 15 AI driver and me at 90% AI strength, but today I won the race against the AI at 90% and my fastest lap was 1:37:4xx, so I made a big step forward with this car.
Next I will try to come close to 1:30:xxx :)

  13. So, battery mode should recover more Green bar if I understood well.
But it tried in Silverstone and MGU-H Mode: motor spends less Green bar (about 31% 1 lap) than battery mode (4%)
My setup: balanced low, energy recovery 100%

So, is it right or it should be just the opposite?

    thanks.

  15. Anyone know what this BBal sign is for? I'd guess its Brake Balance, but it doesn't seem to change when you alter the Brake Bias.

And it looks like it can move, since if you go into the showroom it had 12 bars instead of 5?

Just going a bit further. why not have a "favourites" menu where you have a few slots letting you save an engine/ERS setup and then deploy the program with a button press.

It's the dynamic brake balance adjuster information. The brake-by-wire system will reduce rear brake pressure based on the amount of MGU-K regen on the rear axle to ensure that your in car brake balance is more of a manageable adjustment (reduces brake pressure to offset against axle retardation). This also adjusts the rear brake pressure based on fuel load (weight) too as far as I can tell (the bars on the histogram change based on fuel load).

One presumes that higher weight means for more rear brake pressure, which seems to be "more bars".

While we are at the steering wheel:
Does somebody what the labels over the shifting lights mean?

DRS I know, left lights up in DRS-Zone (available) and next on the right lights up as DRS is activated.
But what do "F" and "K2" stand for?

  20. Makes sense, although it doesn't seem to change when altering MGu_K recovery settings or Engine Braking settings which seems strange.

Aris never gave me an answer on those ;-)

I think K2 is just a power light indicating that ERS systems are active. No idea on F.
