1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    Hey guys, great thing for Kunos they did for AC releasing on Console BUT honestly I have really issues to find any PC related threads between all the kiddies by posting this and that. Still not found a "switch" where/how to hide the console section. Sorry for asking this dumb question, ntl any help is appreciated :)

    I think it is settling down now and normality is somewhat returning. However there are a lot decent console folks out there too, some of which behave better than some of the PC clan and do add to the community. I am not condoning the behaviour of the few. The best we can do is not be like these individuals and add fuel to the fire. Rather try and educate them in a polite way. The bad ones tend to dig themselves into a hole that they either get banned, just leave after getting drowned in politeness or finally see the light.

    It's not only to filter bad ones from good ones, the console section is not what I prefer to read. AFAIK the console users cannot read any of PC related threads, so why not the other way round?

    PS: only an option, not a must.

    I keep finding myself reading the crap, i dont want to.. I really want to ignore it but i cant!! Its like that dodgy part of youtube with the gross spot popping stuff.. You cant help yourself but watch.. Then watch another... Then another!!

    Please let me block them out!!

    I really have a hard time to believe it isn't technically possible. Maybe it's not possible due the lack of will to do something to the situation.

    But what ever the reason we just have to live with it. On the plus side at least consoleros can't post here, most of them are normal and nice people but some rotten apples would cause havock here.

    I agree. Unfortunately rotten apples also bring out the bad in some of those who are mostly normal.
    If it is technically possible how dose one handle the folks who have both PC and Console.

    Well if this forum software doesn't allow xbox live, and what ever it's called with PS4, accounts to be attached to the user account here then I guess it really is impossible. Afaik it's all about permissions, who can see what.

    No you dont.

    Nothing is forcing you to click on the console subforums.

    This is nothing but PC elitism garbage at work here. Calling console users 'kiddies' makes this pretty evident.

    The problem is when you hit 'New Posts' and get 2 relevant (PC related) out of about 100 console posts.

    Console posts are no use to me, hold no interest to me, I can't help them, and if you dare to post in the Console section you just get "Why are you even here?! Go and post in your own section!"

    Why am I even here? :rolleyes:
