XB1 Close to impossible Special Events?

I had that 50% set because of the carreer mode, the AI is sometimes quite dangerous. It has nothing to do with the event

 

So the F40 time has been fixed, it is now 2:00 for gold

The car feels different to me as well, put it's been a while since I tried it...

 

I COMPLETELY agree and it's a huge problem since GOld is required to the Platinum Trophy of AC which 0.0% of players have achieved on PSN so far.

The special events are mostly impossible to get gold on the quick races and hot laps. It's just ridiculous even for a wheel user with years of experience. We shouldn't have to be experts in car tuning to get gold on these. It should be possible on the default setup, PERIOD.

 

I do agree that some events are too difficult for the average player. But there are over 90 events i believe, and it took me 4 or 5 days to get de "old" gold of the F40 at mugello, so if the average difficulty is lets say half of that, i wouldn't expect to see any platimun in less than 4 or 5 months from the release date of the game.

So, yeah, the difficulty is a bit too high but i believe that the fact that nobody has that trophy yet might not be so important. We should wait a bit

 

What I don't get is why an average player should be able to achieve the tier 3/4 goals in the first place, they should be difficult that's kind of the point no?!

 

Maybe the mistake is that in order to get the Platinum Trophy, you have to achieve the maximun tier in all the events.

Perhaps It would have been a better choice to let the Platinum be achieved with only silver medals and leave the gold only as an optional challenge.
