Somewhere at this forum, i think. It's a low quality track ported over from netKar Pro.

 

Fairly sure Its been confirmed by some devs. Its a not very good looking conversion from one of their older titles, and though I find it a lot of fun, I guess Kunos feel since it doesn't match the rest of their tracks in terms of visual quality they have left it out.

We know how silly some people react to free content, and I think Kunos would receive some complaints about how bad it looks even if they were to release it for free... its a sorry state of affairs, I know.

 

Yes, people are just ungrateful, that's true. I mean if I pay my hard earned money for something I want to get the most out of it, but that is the game already... I'd be happy with a mountain track, no matter how the trees look...
I mean good looking trees won't make me faster anyways

Working with trackbuilding, I completely understand why not to include something that has already once received criticism for the state being. No way that will happen again. You either relocate a lot of time to get it up to standards or you move on. Getting Trento up to standards would probably equal scratching the current version completely and get a scan of the real Trento, so a whole new project. That takes a lot of reason to work backwards that way and keep inspired.
AFAIK there´s been no real statement on why a new version will not emerge, we just have to accept that KS wants to put the effort in creating the new tracklicenses, which I would agree with from a business view, but also from a creative one.
So why did they do Black Cat County instead of redoing Trento you might think? To try something new within a limited time schedule that made more sense again from a business view. Would you rather redo a painting you weren´t satisfied with and people said was rather bad or would you do something fresh, what would motivate you the most?

 

i will give 20 or 25 euro just for this track on ps4...... .....and YES in that condition

As others already pointed out, Trento was left out because It's graphically outdated.
About Black Cat County, Porsche asked Kunos to create a new fictional road environment for their simulators, "with the purpose of taking advantage of the driving feeling granted by the simulation, just for the sheer enjoyment of driving without the need to learn and practice on a track, aimed at people who are not yet familiar with driving on racing circuits".
That's the reason behind Black Cat County.

 

Yes I totally get it from a developers point of view. But with lake Garda being something like my second home I couldn't wait for this track

btw, I´ve just done a roadtrip from Copenhagen to Lucca, we came through Trento and visited lake Garda too, understandable you want to have a track from your area.

 

I did buy it in the first place, but my PC just couldn't handle it, so I waited for the Console release, even bought a new wheel stand and wheel just for that

Sounds awesome - really love the streets there, it's just something different

 

the price you spent on the console , could have updated the pc to play AC very nicely Along with many other games..

 

Had the console since release, didn't just buy it for the game. Just got into sim racing

Then just enjoy AC as is on the console. If you´re still into simracing next year, and nothing really has moved that much forward, there´s tons of content, apps, mp-options etc. on the pc-version. So do yourself a favor and start saving for a new rig by then

 

I only can say that i hope that they finally put trento in the console versions!
It's an amazing track ho should be in the game, and i either don't care about the trees and stuff.
