Generic Unofficial Leaderboard

I'm curious about something and that is , with the Porsche Carrera S at Red Bull Ring I'm 5 seconds slower than with the Porsche GT3 RS .
Now ....At the Nordschleife with the Porsche Carrera S I did a 7:42.684 , if I than put the same amount of practice time in the Porsche GT3 Rs as I have done with the Porsche Carrera S where could I end regards my laptime with the Porsche GT3 RS if we now know that the Carrera go's 5 seconds slower on the red Bull Ring ( if you at this point still have no brain damage reading my wonderfully explanation than you are a lucky man ) any way .
Is there a way to calculate this to have a rough estimation where I could end up with my laptime at the Nordschleife knowing aaaaaaaaaallllll this info ?
Any idea ?
like ...1 + 1 = 2 calculation but than a bit more difficult .

Ok ...did a little calculation , I think a 7:18.000 should be possible

 

First clean attempt and did a cautious 7:48 on cold tires sliding a lot lol. Gonna take a bit of time to get where I wanna be.

I hope the rest of the guy's who are participating in this challenge will also place a time .
Me ... still two tracks to go before I caress the Nordschleife .
Good luck and don't give up to fast because it takes some time to learn the track .

Thank you , I actually know the ring well. Just don't have quite a good feel for the Porsche yet. I went from setting times in the f138 to the 911 . I'll get a handle on it and go a lot quicker haha

 

Just done all the small tracks in comparing to the big brother .
Will give it a go today for the first time , I'm a bit excited for this one .

 

My very first attempt with the Porsche 911 GT3 RS at the Nordschleife pfff man its like it has no breaks and wants to oversteer easily but hey it is the beginning of a long trip and I like it .
Come on guys lets have some fun and do a little challenge with this track
7:08.665 is only the World Record on RSR site we can beat that

Second and third clean lap , it is coming along back to that good feeling that I had with the Porsche 911 Carrera S .

That's pretty decent now I figured with some effort I'd be in the 7:20s so good job so far. What tire temps are you at around half way?

 

For the moment they are still at default but this can change with some practice in the future .

 

Now, these are good lap times and, like you guys said, a 7:25/7:20 may be doable pushing the car to the limit
But what about 7:08 or even 7:10 laps which are PC's best timings?
It really is impossible to even get close to that on consoles, I still don't get wether it is the Hypercar Road tyre model as a whole to be different (and less grippy) on consoles or just a specific car related issue (ie the GT3 RS, GT-R Nismo and others having V10 tyres on PC and not on consoles)
Do you guys happen to know something more specific about this?



Paolo is a Real Alien, but a 20 seconds gap...is just too much

 

Yesterday I was also wondering and scratching my head with those laptimes on RSR site . never we are gonna make it under the 7:20 on console I think .
Perhaps If you use pedals with loadcell , it is known that you can be 1 to 2 seconds faster on a normal track so with the Nordschleife distance
it could be that there is such a large difference if they used loadcells on there padels .
To be honest , I don't see myself getting under the 7:20 but let see and wait .
Just a last word about loadcells , it is not fair to those who don't use it just saying .
Now I'm hesitating if I want to continue or not HMMMMMMMM knowing this doesn't give
me motivation to practice .
Och well I leave it for what it is for now .

Made a few mistakes, road to 7:20 seems a little hard though lol

 

Done! Now when you go to the "My times" page, you'll see a comparison against World records.
I also changed the way times are ordered. Now you'll see the most recent updates at the top of the array.

Don't know if I'm gonna put some more practice time in the Nordschleife because it will be very hard to reach the 7:20 any way I think .
