1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

Just having a bit of fun on my server last night with a friend, I was in the KTM xbow he in the 911 gt3rs. Was fun trying to hunt him down and trying to find a way past at Nords tourist.

The 911 has much more power but being heavier its nowhere near as good under brakes or mid corner, up the hills it looks like the 911 is gone but come back to the twisty sections and its game on again.

ps: sorry to running over all the pit crew at the start  but the buggers only turn up in the replay not actually in game so I wasn't actually trying to mow them all down. :D

Excellent video! Great driving man! You're on PC right? It seems so much better than the PS4 version, in every aspect. Maybe it's because the DOR bug or because I stink, but in your video I had the impression that the handling is different, easier in a good way, more predictable.

Thanks, I haven't tried it on console so cant comment on differences even though its supposed to be the same, maybe PC is a bit ahead on builds with tm10 on all cars which will have some changes. Console may have some more limitations too so even if code is exactly the same there will still likely be some differences but to me PC feels quite nice.

Not sure if your using a wheel or gamepad but Im using a wheel and suspect I would struggle much more with a gamepad so credit to the quick guys using those as Ive seen a few. Its possible to be quick with a pad but must be harder to be as precise with its limited travel ranges. Some cars like the ktm with no ABS/TC and H pattern would be very hard without aids on a gamepad I assume where cars like gt3 Ive seen more pad users be more competitive. I use a g27 with shifter and clutch which really does a pretty good job compared to my real world track experience which is the main reason Im still using AC happily. Id love to do more real world track driving/racing but its not as cheap and Nords is on the other side of the world.

You never tried the console version and I never tried the PC version. Sometimes I envy the experience that you, PC gamers, have with sim racing. But I only can have one gaming plataform because, if I buy another one, probably my wife will kick my a**, lol. And I like very much some Sony exclusives.

I bought my very first wheel in past november, a G29. And thanks to @Seria17hri11er and @Ace Pumpkin, I learned to calibrate my FFB. Maybe the problem is between the wheel and the sofa. And I always play without TC and SC. Maybe I'm not that good to play without the electronic help...

Just stick with it learning to drive without extra aids will teach you much more about car control then learning to rely on them to make up for poor driver inputs. Use some TC if badly needed but learning to control traction with your right foot will make you better and its also nearly always faster with it off.

SC in AC is adding fake forces to stabilize a car so takes away your need for learning car control and is nothing like high tech ESC in road cars which still good drivers on track would turn off.

ktm have tyre model 10 on pc and 7 on console. Im not sure exactly how much difference it did to the ktm though.

Here is a little out take from the lap before just to show how easy it is to make a mistake at Nords. I made a real good pass then blew it next corner with a spin that at first made me think wtf. I got the car a touch too wide on entry and got the right wheels in the dirt and it was never going to hang on after that.

This is why I love Nords as its so unforgiving and pushing fairly hard, touching the wrong kerb or a bit of grass rarely ends well. ;)
