1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

I would like this preset. I don't know why the red rotary is not used in the game... +- values would be easily changed with the rotary. In my opinion this is the best function. If Kunos finally decide free buttons mapping, I would like this preset. The rest of the buttons would be the same than in current state. Perhaps the MGU-H MODE could be moved for example to "circle" button. TURBO would be moved to de rotary button. If a car is equipped with MGU, the turbo option would be deleted, if a car is equipped with TURBO, the MGU system would be deleted...

    CIRCLE: MGU-H MODE
    X: HEADLIGHTS
    TRIANGLE: CYCLE TC
    SQUARE: CYCLE ABS

    L2: DRS, HANDBRAKE
    R2: KERS
    L3: CHANGE VIEW
    R3: VOTE "YES"

    - : BRAKE BALANCE -
    +: BRAKE BALANCE +

    DPAD: exactly the same.

    HORN: who use it? ;-)

In other ways, Kunos should allow to custom button mapping, but i would be happy with this preset...

Shuch a shame :( for m,e button mapping is much more important than private lobbies or offline championships.talking about offline championships, will they feature the possibily of choosing opponents or will they be automatically selected?does anyone have a clue about it?

Wow, that's interesting. I thought all games released for the last few years had customizable controls.
I suppose there must be a good reason.

  12. nope.. as I've said in the other thread, what you guys "should do" is open a thread with the description of your problem. 1 user = 1 thread = 1 problem.

Once we have the data regarding the problems we'll be able to determine if BM is necessary or not. Opening vox populi threads full of "yeah me too" won't give you anything other than being totally ignored.

    Up to you

BM is not only about bugs and problems, is about customization, making the control more enjoyable for many people, and making thus Assetto a better game.
It may be also an improvement in accesibility, for partialy disabled people ...

You, the DEVs, have to see how much work does it require, and if it's worth doing it, but after custom lobbies, I think it's the most demanded feature by the community.

By the way, I don't care about BM personally, all I want is PSVR, so I'm not telling you that for personal interest ;)

Sorry your Lordship, I have to disagree with the wording on this ! It's not a question of whether you or the team deem BM is necessary, it should be what can be done to successfully implement BM once data has been collated !
From the numerous queries and concerns from players regarding BM it should be clear this is now the most requested feature ! Hopefully when the console community floods the boards with individual threads, all stating the same issues with either Thrustmaster or Logitech wheels (the two most popular, officially licensed manufacturers on console) then maybe it'll get noticed ?
I understand you're under immense pressure with the ongoing delayed console updates, but surely you and the team are not blind to this issue ?

But the problem is systemic. Everyone has this problem, as the number of functions available is too many for the number of buttons the pad/wheel has. So it's imposible to solve the problem with more presets or even with button mapping (keyboard should be added along BM).

But at least with BM people can adjust the actions for every situation: racing with hybrid cars you eliminate other useless functions for that car like handbrake or looking back (919).... etc

    edit: typos

Respectfully, this isn't necessarily about bugs. It's about a feature that's available in the PC version and that many console sim racers use with other titles to best suit their driving style, peripherals, unique physical quirks, etc.

I think it's honestly important to a lot of people who invest time and money into setting up their rigs and have recently been able to fully enjoy sims of this console generation without having to enviously look over the fence too much at the PC feature sets. It's a cool situation to be in, and it looks like folks just want to have fun with the gear they have and functions to which they've become accustomed. Unfortunately, the current presets feel like a step backwards.

Regardless, I'll open a thread and detail a couple of issues to help move things forward.

So you are still not decided that button mapping is necessary, that beggars belief!

For instance with the logitech g920 you can't look around or use the hybrid cars correctly, are these "features" not necessary?

Let's all shut up about how we voice our opinions and just do what the man says. Thread inbound.

  19. I love the ignore feature, can that not be mapped as a wheel function?
