1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

  3. Pitting for tires isn't part of the AI update.

I know. I'm, saying I hope it isn't far away, given the attention they seem to be paying to AI.

Unfortunately this DLC provides cars I'm not interested in at all, except the Celica and maybe a very little bit the Audi TT... Still I might buy it soon or later in order to support the team.

Yeah, I'm not sure which of these I'll drive but I buy all the DLC to support Kunos and to feel okay about coming on here and complaining about AC every now and then. You must have skin in the game.

Having three different makes from LMP1 can't be that bad, and also I'm quite interested in finding out how the R8 feels (also how Audi is capable of making such a terrible looking car, but I don't think Kunos can give all answers).

Same here, but if it's content isn't used in the online league i drive i won't buy it anymore. I supported them already with the three porschepacks double ( bought them for my brother as well) and haven't even driven one lap in them. Most of their cars just don't interest me at all. Same here with this racecontent that doesn't even get me lukewarm. Also no track so no reason to really buy it at this moment. Luckily I have no problem amusing myself very good with the already available content.

I admit I'll only buy it because of the Celica.
Having said that, if this is the trend with just 1 not-so-modern car and no tracks, then I'll probably skip the next DLC.

    AI improvements are always welcome

I'm asking myself when Kunos will think they have released enough modern/ultra-modern cars to eventually give more ressourses to classic cars. I mean : ANY classic car, I'm not so demanding.. :D
I can buy a DLC for only 25% of its content, that's what I do since the start, but not easily for 10% or less. There are so many iconic, fantastic, wonderful classic cars to model ! Now that ultra-modern cars' drivers have their stuff, could the devs now more think to those of their customers who more or less hate activating the DRS, drive with TC, think about E-recovery, turbo-boost button, and above all click on the paddle and drive with only 2 pedals and no H-shifter ?...

I would to add : they can do a fantastic job with classic cars, they proved it.

  11. Buy or don't buy whatever you want, but keep in mind that when the day comes that a DLC doesn't sell enough to turn a profit is the day that updates for the game quit happening.

Several of the cars in this dlc are from licenses taken in the last three years (for example those Toyota models were licensed in 2014), but other type of content "got in the way", still these cars are worth to release because are good stuff for a racing sim.

Kinda excited about the DLC cars...regardless of my level of excitement, Im gonna buy it anyway. I buy all AC DLCs (not many games can say that about me!)

Do you think that the AI update will modify their start sequence? Or that they back up too soon?

For me, they can put any car in the DLCs they want really.
Of course I've got my preferences, and end up driving some cars more often then others.
But I much appreciate the work that goes into trying to replicate all the different cars in an authentic way, from how they look, sound, and most importantly, drive!
I'm not all that much into LMP cars, but after the Porsche was released few months ago, I was impressed by the sheer speed, agility, and downforce of that thing.
Will spend quite some time putting the new Audi and Toyota LMPs to the test, compare them against each other and then put them against the two Porsche LMPs.
There's just so much to experience with each car, even if some will thereafter not get much milage.
