Following it's toughest challenge of the season last week on the streets of Monaco, the Monday night 1991 Formula One league now takes on another challenging circuit with a street course feel, the fabulous Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in Montreal plays host to round five of the series this evening.

Once again, pit strategy played a role last week at Monaco as the one stop option on Mediums proved to be the better way to go over the two stop strategy on the softs. Philippe Simard got things started by taking his second pole position of the season ahead of Eiran Parsons by just over a tenth of a second. As the race began, Philippe Simard took the early lead of the race on the soft compound. Eiran Parsons and Chris Moses who started second and third both started on the mediums and were setting similar lap times to the leader. Early reports from the engineers along the pit wall indicated that the medium tire was not all that much slower than the softs and that proved to be the case as the race transpired. After Simard entered the pits on lap eighteen of the scheduled fifty-one laps, it was clear at that moment he was on a two stop strategy. With clear track ahead, both Parsons and Moses maintained great pace and stayed out of trouble. After Simard went into the pits for his second and final stop, that cleared the way for Parsons and Moses to drive past Simard to finish first and second respectively. Simard ended the night on the final step of the podium. John Houston who finished fourth and Marc DeGras fifth, both put together great races to finish on the lead lap.

After four rounds, Eiran Parsons stands alone atop the drivers championship after last weeks win with seventy-five points. Philippe Simard is second with sixty-nine points and Marc DeGras is third with fifty-four points.

In the team championship, TBROKDAMBAM's Eiran Parsons and John Houston have moved into the lead 115 points. Precision Motor Racing's Chris Moses and Matt Taylor fall to second with ninety points. The French Connection's Philippe Simard and Ian Jolicoeur are third with eighty-seven points.

NAGPTV is your home for complete coverage of tonight's round five from Montreal. Qualifying gets underway at 9pm eastern followed immediately after by the 200km race.

With three of the top four drivers in the championship standings straddled with 30kg of ballast for tonight's race, it will be interesting see who will step up and potentially come away with a win tonight. Can Marc DeGras, John Houston or Ian Jolicoeur, all Canadians, win at their home track? They certainly all have the pace to do so.

The 30th running of the North American Grand Prix mid-season classic is upon us. GT super pole qualifying for round five takes place this evening from the legendary Spa-Francorchamps Circuit in Belgium.

Hot off the heels of a one-two finish at VIR, The Podium Hunters duo of Kevin Kirkbride and Zach Hefner in the speedy Morrison/Lee sponsored Glickenhous look to carry that momentum into tonight's qualifying event. After their result last week at VIR, Podium Hunters thrust themselves near the top of the team championship, behind only Eiran Parsons and Chris Moses of Precision Motor Racing and their Fog Studious sponsored Porsche 911's. After a double DNF by both Brad Merys and Al Marimon of Gotta Go Bye! at Mosport, the Snowden Studios sponsored McLaren squad got a nice boost in the team standings after the two finished third and fifth last week. The team looking to redeem themselves the most going into tonight's event will be Turbonerdz. David Maros and Peter Szabo in the Evolved Talent Agency sponsored Lamborghini Huracan's walked away with only four points after last weeks race. The season XXXI championship winning Turbonerdz dipped to fourth in the team standings. Current Standings: Precision Motor Racing 102, Podium Hunters 100, Gotta Go Bye! 82, Turbonerdz 74, TCB 60.

The drivers championship is incredibly close as we enter round five. Eiran Parsons leads overall with fifty-nine points. Meanwhile, four drivers are tied for second with fifty points. Zack Hefner, Kevin Kirkbride, Jesse Olsen and Brad Merys are all within striking distance of the leader.

The mid-season classic at Spa has been a staple on the Thursday night calendar for nearly ten years, with the first event taking place on November 29, 2007. The format for tonight's event begins with single lap qualifying. The top two qualifiers lock in their front row starting positions in next weeks 400km endurance race. Following the single lap portion of qualifying there will be a thirty minute sprint race. The results of the sprint race determines the starting positions for the rest of the field. Points are awarded to the pole winner as well as the top three finishers in the qualifying race.

NAGPTV will be your home for complete coverage tonight's super pole event at Spa. Starting at 9pm eastern, join Jake Feimster and Jack Ivy as they bring you all of the play-by-play of single lap qualifying followed immediately after by the thirty minute, twelve lap sprint race.

Brace yourselves for what will be a thrilling super pole qualifying round at Spa. Don't miss a second of the racing coverage on Monday and Thursday nights here at NAGP! Follow us on Twitch and on YouTube and get notified when we go live!

Round six of the North American Grand Prix 1991 F1 Championship gets underway this evening at the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez in Mexico and NAGPTV will be your home for complete coverage of tonight's event.

Ian Jolicoeur withstood a late race surge last week from Matt Taylor to take home his first win of the season at his home track in Montreal. Jolicoeur finished the night with maximum points for the round after setting pole position and leading the most laps in the race. Matt Taylor had his best result of the season thus far finishing just one second behind the race winner. Kevin Lechmanski finished comfortably in third twenty-seven seconds behind Jolicoeur.

The win by Jolicoeur helped his French Connection team move into second in the standings, five points behind leaders TBROKDAMBAM in the team classification. Precision Motor Racing's Chris Moses and Matt Taylor have dipped to third, a position they're not used to being in. Meanwhile, Marc DeGras and Kevin Lechmanski, in the newly beefed up Ligier team are fourth, sixteen points behind the leaders.

In the Drivers championship, Philippe Simard has moved into the lead after five rounds after a disappointing result last week by Eiran Parsons. Simard leads with eighty-three points, seven points ahead of second place Eiran Parsons. Marc DeGras is alone in third with sixty-four points while teammates Chris Moses and Matt Taylor are tied for fourth six sixty-one points each.

NAGPTV will have all of the bases covered this evening as we kick the night of racing off with qualifying at 9pm eastern. Immediately following the qualifying session will be the 200km race to the checkered flag.

Last week's super pole qualifying round has set the stage for tonight's 400km feature race for round five of the North American Grand Prix GT series at Spa-Francorchamps.

Salem Montgomery Jr., who qualified second in last weeks single lap qualifying session, powered his Audi R8 to win the thirty minute sprint race that followed ahead of Kevin Kirkbride's Glickenhaus in second and Andrew Werner, with an impressive drive in the Corvette, in third. The story leading up to tonight however has been in regards to last season's drivers champion and pole sitter last week, Peter Szabo, who was involved in an incident early in the race, was penalized and will be forced to start from the rear of the qualified cars. Szabo and his Turbonerdz teammate David Maros will have their hands full as both drivers will be starting at the back of the grid in their Evolved Talent Agency Lamborghini's. The two were heavy favorites to win, although still entirely possible, just made more difficult given their starting positions for tonight.

Join Jake Feimster and Jack Ivy on NAGPTV at 9pm eastern as they bring you complete coverage of tonight's highly anticipated 400km race at Spa.

The North American Grand Prix Monday night 1991 Formula One series travels to England for round seven of the championship at Silverstone this evening.

Ian Jolicoeur made it back-to-back wins last week winning in Mexico by the closest of margins over second place Eiran Parsons. After an incident on lap one involving the pole setter Phillipe Simard and Chris Moses which cost them both several positions, it was Kevin Miller who found himself in front early. A mistake by Miller allowed Parsons through to the lead with Jolicoeur in hot pursuit. Jolicoeur managed to get past Parsons on lap eleven by utilizing the draft down Mexico's long front straight. The pass turned out to be the move that would decide the winner as Jolicoeur withstood intense pressure from Parsons for nearly fifteen laps as the gap between the two remained under a second the entire time. Jolicoeur crossed the line a half a second ahead of Parsons earning him his second consecutive win. Chris Moses managed to finish third despite the earlier incident between himself and Simard.

After six rounds in the championship, Eiran Parsons is back in the lead of the drivers championship with ninety-six points. Philippe Simard drops to second with eighty-four points. Marc DeGras continues to impress this season sitting third with eighty points.

In the team championship, TBROKDAMBAM's Eiran Parsons and John Houston lead with 162 points. The French Connections Philippe Simard and Ian Jolicoeur are second with 153 points. Meanwhile, last season's championship winning Precision Motor Racing team of Chris Moses and Matt Taylor are third with 140 points.

We invite you to join the broadcast this evening on NAGPTV starting at 9pm eastern. Coverage begins with twenty-five minutes of open qualifying followed immediately after by the 200km race at Silverstone.

The North American Grand Prix Thursday night GT series heads to Germany this evening four round six of the championship at the Nürburgring.

Following his win in the qualifying race two weeks ago, Salem Montgomery Jr. took home his second win of the season in last weeks 400km race at Spa-Francorchamps. Montgomery Jr. in the Audi, simply dominated last week, leading fifty-four of the scheduled fifty-eight laps finishing forty-one seconds ahead of second place Peter Szabo. Szabo's result was nearly as impressive, as Szabo powered his Lamborghini to a second place result after starting at the back of the grid due to a penalty. Szabo's teammate, David Maros took home third, over a minute behind the winner resulting in a great points night for the Turbonerdz squad.

With half of the season now officially in the books, Eiran Parsons is leading the drivers championship with sixty-nine points. Right behind Parsons is Kevin Kirkbride with sixty-eight points followed by Zack Hefner and Salem Montgomery Jr. who are tied for third with fifty-nine points.

Kevin Kirkbride and Zack Hefner of Podium Hunters now lead the team championship with 127 points in their Morrison/Lee Glickenhaus. Precision Motor Racing's Eiran Parsons and Chris Moses are second in the Fog Studios Porsche with 120 points followed by Peter Szabo and David Maros of Turbonerdz in the Evolved Talent Agency Lamborghini with 113 points.

Jake Feimster and Jack Ivy bring you the call of tonight's race at the Nürburgring beginning at 9pm eastern on NAGPTV. The racing begins with twenty-five minutes of open qualifying followed immediately after by the 200km race.

Although we have run the Nordchleife in GT every season going back to season XXV, this will be the first time we have run solely the GP layout on Thursdays. We fully expect some close wheel-to-wheel racing to be on display tonight.

The North American Grand Prix Monday night open wheel series travels back in time this evening for round eight of the championship at the 1988 version of Hockenheim in Germany.

The French Connection team made it three wins in a row after Philippe Simard claimed the top step of the podium after last weeks race at Silverstone. Simard led all sessions claiming pole position by over 1.5 seconds ahead of Marc DeGras in second. Simard topped the big points night off by leading the most laps and scoring maximum points for the night. Marc DeGras, who took the fight to Simard early in the race, faded a bit after pit stops and finished a season best second, twenty-three seconds behind the leader. Matt Taylor finished the night in third, twenty-nine seconds behind first place.

The win by Philippe Simard moved the Canadian into first place in the drivers championship with 110 points. Eiran Parsons drops to second in the standings just two points behind the leader with 108 points. Marc DeGras remains in championship contention as he sits third with 100 points.

After three straight wins by The French Connection's Ian Jolicoeur and Philippe Simard, they have now moved into the lead of the team championship with 189 points. TBROKDAMBAM's Eiran Parsons and John Houston are second with 180 points while the Ligier team of Kevin Lechmanski and Marc DeGras are third with 168 points.

Join NAGPTV starting at 9pm eastern for complete coverage of round eight from Hockenheim. The racing begins with twenty-five minutes of open qualifying followed immediately after by the 200km race.

There will be plenty of passing opportunities on offer at the end of the giant straights of Hockenheim which should amount to some great racing action.

The North American Grand Prix Thursday night GT series will be in Mexico this evening for round eight of the championship at the newly revamped Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez circuit.

Brad Merys in the McLaren took home his first one of the season last week at Bahrain after a wonderful tooth and nail battle with Andrew Werner in the Corvette. From the drop of the green flag to the checkered flag, the two drivers, equal on pace, were separated by an average of one second for all of the thirty-seven laps. Both drivers drove masterfully, hoping, in Werner's case, that Merys would put a wheel wrong and give him the opening he needed for an overtake. That did not happen and the two finished 1.2 seconds apart. Werner's teammate, David Poel, finished third making it a big points night for 05 Motorsports in the Corvette.

After eight rounds, the driver's championship remains very close. Eiran Parsons leads the way with 101 points. After last weeks win, Brad Merys has moved into second just two points behind the leader. Zack Hefner is third, nine points back.

In the team championship, Zack Hefner and Kevin Kirkbride of Podium Hunters in the Morrison / Lee sponsored Glickenhaus with 174 points hold a slim four point lead over Precision Motor Racing's Eiran Parsons and Chris Moses in the Fog Studios Porsche. Gotta Go Bye, with Brad Merys and Al Marimon behind the wheel of their Snowden Studios sponsored McLaren sit third with 141 points.

Join Jake Feimster and Jack Ivy on NAGPTV at 9pm eastern for complete coverage of round eight in Mexico. The racing begins with twenty-five minutes of open qualifying followed immediately after by the 200km race.

At a track suited for the power cars, this could be a big points night for Podium Hunters in the Glickenhaus. It will be see how the more aero dependent cars can counter the straight line speed of the Glicks. Should be a fun one!
