1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    Doh! No i was'nt aware about that... I'm really sorry, sure, for RSR itself and for the whole multiplayer experience of AC 8(

    Dah... anyway... i've do a little of work for my page today... now it's a little better... tomorrow will be finished, This page should begin to work also without RSR (it works like a backup) but will loose the updates, sure... dah... really a bad news for all of us. TY!

    Simple statistics: rather than taking the best laptime of a car, take the average of all entries. There you'll have a more meaningful number to present.

    While it is true that only grabbing the best time will not be a "statistically representative" number, grabbing all entries and averaging only applies if all entries are legitimate, otherwise they will throw off the average. There are plenty of laptimes where the laptimes are abysmally high (driver was a rookie or just enjoying the scenery :)). The correct procedure is to indeed grab all entries but then remove the outliers. How to identify outliers? That could be the tricky bit.

    Grabbing the best time does involve some assumptions (e.g. all cars were put equal driving effort) but I reckon it's the easiest method and does give a fairly good representation of ranking.

    The page have now a better layout and the ability to highlight a choosen car.
    The idea about the average times is good, TY! Also if agree with OoAle about the more rapresentative best time for each car this should be a nice "parallel" tool... but will be really more complicated to create... ya, the work is possible, but thinking about the future of RSR... i give up 8(

    It would be better not to create "parallel tool" due RSR is going to stop. IMHO- we just need best lap times in Pro times zone ( 26\37celsius, marked by letter "P" in RSR table) and taken from latest phisics (game) version (s) of AC :)

    is to take the median value of the top 5% of times. That means you only include times from proficient drivers. Take a look at a that thread. It's where I automatically analyse and rank the cars based on RSR lap times.
