1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

The attitude of this thread is getting toxic beyond belief.

No, that's a wrong and simplistic view of my comments.

I prefer cars that aim a passionate experience rather than performance or breaking records. 911 R, Balboni and Carrera GT are that kind of cars. The first one is a GT3 RS with no big wing and manual shifter (and also like the GT3 RS NA engine). The second one a Gallardo with manual shifter and rear wheel drive. And the third one a manual hypercar with a NA V10 engine.

The car still had the passenger seat, the drivers seat was changed out with a bucket seat and harness for driver safety.

As for the time, I don't really doubt it. The older GT3 RS with Manthey Racing parts (KW Competition suspension) does under 7:10 without race drivers.

Edit: Btw. the Performante also wasn't 100% stock with the cage and what looks like a bucket seat. Cage, harness and buckets are pretty much a must for these tests.

The :D was intended to let you know I was just having a laugh. :D I agree with your premise but I prefer the ones that are about 30-40 years older than the Porsches, no computers, no nannies, no flappy paddles, the car only does what you ask of it.

He knows the track but the car lacks passion (sorry).

Amusing how he finishes the interview at the end as early as he can.

He might be getting paid to travel to the U.S. to do a media event but he's still Hakkinen ;-)

I guess it's also owed to the fact that the M23 over the years always was a very vicious machine compared to the other F1 cars of that time.

I don't know, but I highly suspect the quoted 3400kg of the petrol car is simply false.

It was said that the car had 500hp, so it probably was a G63 AMG.
Mercedes lists a weight of 2630kg curb weight for the G63 AMG which is incl. all fluids, 90% fuel, 68kg driver and 7kg luggage.
(even the G65 is only 30kg heavier)

The weight is listed for the base model of each version and optional extras can ramp up the weight, but surely not 700-800kg.

Could be some mix with gross vehicle mass and curb weight. 3400kg sounds about right for GVM. Maybe they didn't weigh it before the conversion.
