Update 1.16 and Bonus Pack 3

I havent driven any racing games lately (like 2 months or so), been busy with life. Tried AC and the new cars, at least one of the Pagani and the Lambo and im getting the later when getting a new car. I love how both of them drive though. Holy ****. Im speechless. I just made a new account to save up to one of those! The pagani looks awful in the interior though, so ill just go for Lambo. It'll suit my needs best cuz it doesnt have anything uncecessary when im going to the store. Thanks Kunos for bringing it. I havent tried Laguna yet, will do.

 

I agree. The Huracan Performante is so awesome. As a huge Lambo fanboy I was waiting on pins & needles for the Aventador SV to arrive. It disappointed me, to be honest. This has nothing to do with how Kunos built the car - that's totally fine. It's just so big and heavy for me, I don't think I've ever done a single clean lap in that car yet. Not crashing or going fully off the track, but misjudging a corner and having to slam on the brakes which totally killed my driving line...stuff like that. I see the Aventador SV times from many others and all I can say is "Wow!"

 

I’ve driven a few Lambos and Ferrari’s and have always been a Ferrari fan, the lambos just always felt heavy and unresponsive by comparison. The Performante is on a whole new level though. The combo of precision controls, amazing aero setup and high reving NA engine that sounds awesome is hard to beat. Compared to the 488 which in my opinion has lost that something special that the 458 had and I may have now been converted to the lambo family at least a bit

Has 330P4 got slower, or GT40 faster, or my driving changed ? Because I remember 330P4 being easily at least 1s faster than GT40, and now they are almost equal, at least to my skill, perhaps I'm underdriving 330P4 a lot with different wheel, and got better with GT40..

Feels like 330P4 has more character and is even more awesome than it was at first. Or is it only because different FFB wheel ?

 

I am over 1 second slower in the GT40 at Silverstone 1967 and that is with a lot more practice in the Ford. I prefer the GT40 though, that Ferrari understeers a lot in mid-high speed corners.

 

Yeah something like that i just have tried those combos. Before that I was trying it at Riverside Short, and more similar laptimes.

 

Anywhere where they can reach high speed should even the playing field a bit, like Monza 66. RIR short doesn't use the whole back straight but maybe it is still long enough for the Ford to close the gap. The Ford might be faster in high speed corners as well (there's a few of those at RIR), I'm not too sure.

That's an interesting bug to fix, it wouldn't necessarily be related to the Ferrari race. Maybe AC1 is making a comeback. Does anyone know when the announced semi official GT4 DLC is coming out?

 

Some little mishap on this update, it added some 131 files of internal dev mismatches. Look for new files with *(Stefano Casillo's conflicted copy 2020-01-17)*.*
data.acd files for the ktm_xbow_r, mercedes_sls, tatuusfa1, ks_mercedes_190_evo2 were also changed, so beware of checksum mismatches on currently running servers.
CSP seems unnafected.

 

Really hope Kunos will transfer their improved AI code from ACC to AC

Another small update with 0 bytes downloaded, but ACS.exe and ACS_x86.exe have a changed "Last Change" date in file system.
No new information in changelog.txt.

 

Some skins got removed from the 488 challenge, I think something has also changed in relationship to ride height as well...

Not sure if the collider and exhaust flames have been fixed.

A few weeks ago ferrari announced that they have created a complete new car (Ferrari 488 Challenge Evo 2020) for AC and opened the pre-register to this esport series.
