1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    Dear Kunos,
Can you please shed some light on the minimum system requirements of ACC.
So some people can start saving money?
Steam page is not very informative as of yet.
    Thanks.

According to the steam page I need to upgrade my OS.
I will not do that until I buy a new PC.

More info on the system requirements would be appricated.

I just hope it can run on my current PC, since it is running AC pretty well considering AC is using in d'house engine, where ACC will be using Unreal4...

As far as i know, Unreal Engine is pretty expensive. So, at least i'm sure I need a new PC when Competizione comes out. But then, this PC is 3 1/2 years old now, and wasn't exactly the most performant when i bought it.

As I read it UR4 isn’t actually that demanding on resources. I can run “The vanishing of Ethan Carter” quite well with my potato.

And i just saw that i confused it with CryEngine, which is what is supposed to be heavy on CPU... nevermind then. :) I still guess i will need a new PC for it though. Intel Xeon E3-1230v3 CPU here, with a Geforce GTX 770 and 8 GB of Ram...

I am trying to figured out what I need to buy in order to run Assetto Corsa and Assetto Corsa Competizione at 60 fps on a 1080p tv screen but with the potential to run both games in VR at a good resolution . ( 60 fps for me it is a must)

Can you steer me in the right direction?
    For example , should I aim to a I5 or I7 ?
Is the gtx 1060 3gb still a good graphic card?
Do I really need 16gb of ram or can I point to 8GB?

Any help would be much appreciated.

What I currently love about AC is the fact I can run it with my GTX 1060 6GB in VR with a satisfying framerate.
As long as ACC resp. UE4 will offer options to turn down details far enough to be playable with this configuration, I'll be happy.

Generally, I'd appreciate reasonable system requirements and options before the launch.

Guess it's fair enough that Kunos/505 decide to not provide support for an OS not supported by its publisher, anymore. I also run WIN 7 on my PC but won't think twice about updating if that means I can play ACC :)

I am not into GT3 cars (not a hater) I like the diversity of AC and I don`t drive GT3 as much as other cars. I would be happy to support Kunos and buy it anyway. Mostly for trying the UE engine.
I mite still buy it, to see if it works. If it don`t work I can still refund it at steam. If it works and I get trouble along the way I will not get Kunos support. No problem my choice. Will see about that when the time comes.

LOL, I think the main issue regardless is...

    START SAVING NOW!

I'm in the same boat, good GPU, but CPU's the weak spot.

It's really too early to say to what extent ACC might require more CPU power. For VR, yes I'm worrying too if my GTX1070 will be able to show the graphic beauty (preferably with some supersampling too). Let's assume/hope the new engine is very efficient too...

if you want to be ready for ACC and future games go for the following:
    - i5 8600k (is very good and more than enough to run current and future games without any hassle).
    - at least a Nvidia GTX1070(ti) so you have enough video RAM available. 3GB won't cut it probably.

It's still a couple of months away until the early access so save up
