Lexus and Aston Martin missing

Audi, Nissan, McLaren, and Mercedes are all in the 24-hour Spa conference trailer, my guess is that the Lexus and Aston Martin GT3 cars are not even in pre-alpha stage, hence it's absence in the trailer. There's no mention of either one of those 6 manufacturers in the timeline pic though:



Feb 13th 2019 is the last early access build, but the release date is Q1 2019. Q1 2019 ends on March 31 2019, which is 18 days after build 6 is pushed.. Is 18 days enough to test the final build with all the added content together at once, tracks, cars, etc?

That's 6 manufacturers (Aston Martin, Audi, Lexus, McLaren, Mercedes, and Nissan) missing from early access that will be added to the final game with an 18 day window. Seems risky.. I understand that they'll be working on all those cars during the entire early access period, but to keep all 6 of those behind the curtain until the last second just seems a bit chaotic. And still no mention of Lexus or Aston anywhere... Does Kunos at least have the licenses from Aston Martin and Lexus right now? How much content will be missing from the final game, if any?

 

Them saving full content for launch is really simple. ACC does not have a huge roster of cars and tracks, and early access is most definitely gonna be released at a lower price, if they release the entirety of what little content they have during ea then there is no incentive for people to wait for full release. That would lead to fewer sales at full price which is generally a seriously retarded move for any company that wants to make money. Plus them holding back content during ea would mean that only people that really bother with ACC are gonna get in on the ea program, which means the community feedback can be more concise and the devs won't have a bunch of white noise to sift through for every issue. Pretty much two birds with one stone. They will just release full content when the game launches, just not during ea period. I highly doubt any content is gonna be "missing" on launch. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

 

I'd also wager that not all content is ready to go on an acceptable quality level when EA starts and will be worked on meanwhile.

Why are people expecting early access to be cheaper? You are still buying the full thing plus get the ability to play early with the work in progress build.

The Battlefield stuff only gave you a couple of days early access IF you paid for the more expensive deluxe versions...

 

Because Kunos said it would be cheaper.

It's interesting how only 3 out of 6 replies are actually related to the thread. I mention, "Lexus" and someone hears, "price." Eh, same amount of letters, close enough. While this is all OT; any idea why Kunos does not want people posting, "I have the same issue" in an existing thread? In all the other forums I've been to, they call those "duplicate threads" then either delete or lock it.
