It's probably hard to know. But comparing my single screen performance in ACC to what I used to get in AC, ACC seems to run as well if not better than AC did. I'm optimistic that VR will run at least as well as AC.

I think I can put off that CPU upgrade for another few months.

diff settings idk, I sure would like to play with them, but I guess there is a reason we don't have it.

 

Same for me but it might be down to the surface temp or usage that is an unknown factor.

 

More FOV means more things rendered at once, also VR has 2 POV duplicating some of the graphics buffer plumbing. Expect a bit less of performence on VR. Also only 60fps for VR will make you puke.

 

Was wondering if there is a way to find out the Time multiplier and start time of the 35 minute Sunset Hot stint? The transition from day to night is glorious. Smooth and Subtle.

 

I really like that the AI sometimes goes wide if they they are on the inside, making room for an undercut. That was my biggest wish for improvement over AC. Great work!

 

Thanks. I can see myself doing a fair few quick races with those setting. Good mix of sunset and night racing. Love driving into the night!

 

As I understand it, SC4 needs to be set to watch for the ACC.exe but, you'll have to still manually initiate the SC4 profile after you have ACC running; alt+tab out of the game, start the ACC profile in SC4 and return to ACC. that should work and I have used that same method with certain games and VR as a work-around.

 

Another reshade video. Again, not encouraging people to get Reshade right away, it's just testing sharpness vs. performance ingame and with Reshade. Obviously ACC should be sharp(er) at lower settings too with next to zero performance costs, I'm sure it will be down the line.

No textoverlays, if you think it looks sharper suddently, it's not videoquality bump up, I'm turning adaptivesharping on and off. Also turning a color curve on/off that I like personally more.

Oh dear, thanks to everybody for the ideas to use Reshade and which filters to use.
I've tweaked both my ingame and Reshade settings a bit now and the image is way better yet I've also managed to improve performance (higher fps without OCing the gpu to previous settings with OC).

I've closed the game again, but I can share my settings later. I'm quite happy now especially considering my GTX 970.

 

can't wait until October as I'm finding it impossible to drive in a monitor again rather than VR.
Only downside is that I'll need to lower all the graphic settings but it's worth it for VR.

I have a very frustrating problem in the first event
I get a "too slow" blue square every lap and I don't know why. I'm running 1.57.XXX consistently and I have no trouble getting green everywhere else.
It's in the 3rd sub-sector starting from the end (the straight with a flat out right hander, before the final chicane). Even trying to get the best exit to max my speed on the straight I'm not fast enough for the game?

 

Mind filming it? Hard to judge

 

Does the ReShade info appear right away ingame or during a session?
