1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

Clutch

Discussion in 'ACC General Discussions' started by uhntissbaby111, Sep 12, 2018.

  1. Is the clutch not currently modeled? I have it set to manual in the options and also have it mapped in the controls. But when I depress it in game nothing happens, and the car doesn’t stall when in gear. It’s as if auto clutch is enabled. I have a G27

The Lamborghini Huracan has autoclutch/antistall. Not all cars have it, but this one yes.

@Aristotelis As I was asking this to myself either: Are you going to release some kind of manual for all cars once the game is finished?

The real car has a clutch pedal which is used when driving out from the garage and leaving the pit box. The anti-stall isn't meant to be relied upon as a method for pulling away from a standstill and the auto clutch system is really just for gear shifts only.

Edit: the car I have seen with a clutch pedal was a 2011 LP600 Reiter GT3 car so maybe the one in game doesn't have a clutch pedal!

That might be true in general, but is it true of the Lamborghini? I don't see a clutch pedal, or a clutch paddle in the pictures of the real car.

The car has no floor mounted clutch pedal it´s clutch paddle is on the steering wheel. You pull the left paddle engage 1st gear and go.

"Ignition on, press start button - the startup procedure does not require any special features. At an idling speed of 1100 / min, the bearish ten-cylinder dances warm. Now quickly start the first gear. But how? As in the production R8, the driver in the racing version has to do without the clutch pedal. "There's simply no room for it," says Audi Customer Sports Director Romolo Liebchen. To do this, the clutch is operated via the steering wheel: With one hand, I pull the clutch lever at the bottom left behind the ring of the clip-on handlebar. At the same time I pull on the right rocker switch - now the gear is in it. And then I let go of the clutch lever - still stands the R8. But with only a little gas, it rolls like any car in city traffic. The game with the clutch and the filigree looking for the optimal grinding point can be forgotten: GT3 races are usually started on the fly."

Audi and Lambo use the same system.
