1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

Updating Nvidia Drivers

I bought A/C Competizone last night, I have not tried it yet.
Besides installing the new Microsoft VC Redist Package, I also got a notice to update my Nvidia driver from 334.89 to 378.92.
I went to the Nvidia website and looked up my Video card , a GTX 560Ti. The update they have for it is 391.35

Is there a reason that I should try to find and install # 378.92 as Assetto Corsa recommends or will the latest driver # 391.35 work?
    Thanks

I think they suggest the 378.92 as the minimum driver version supported by the game, i have the 399.24 and it run whitout problems (also are officially "game ready" for ACC) :)

Thanks to both of you, I updated to the 391.35 driver, I tried running A/C Competizione. There is a violent shaking of the car either at idle or at slow speeds, not sure if there is a setting to play with or it is because I am using a computer running the minimum requirments. I'll look through the forums to see if anyone has reported the same problem and has an answer.

I'll skip for now, looks like it cause problems with Unreal Editor and is bad for my job.

Maybe it's unrelated but try the 399.24 instead (are more optimized for ACC), if the shaking persist report the issue in the bug report forum section :)

I tried to open cameraoptionsea.json, and got a notice that it cannot be opened. Looks like I will need to find the program that allows it to be opened.
    Thanks for the hint.

Thanks to all of you, I got the cameraoptionsea.json file opened using notepad and changed the general movement from 1 to o.
    That did the trick.

Lost performance with 411.63, according to AC benchmark. 25k down to 23k.

I heard no reports of this but was thinking nVidia would do this little by little over a few drivers to help 20 series look better , lol
    It wouldn't surprise me .

Anyone have tested the new 416.16 drivers (released today)?
I'm still with the 399.24 because the last two versions were a mess with the UE4 Editor.

416.16 working fine here. A little warmer than usual. Settings on high.
