We already know there is gonna be some other cars in a 2018 season other then GT3's

For example Lamborghini Gallardo R-EX, Lamborghini Super Trofeo, Porsche 911 cup all those are in different class so hance the message.

 

In the Blancpain there are several championships: PRO, PRO-AM, AM, and the SILVER Cup, as far as I know. All are GT3 spec cars but with different regulations regarding driver lineups. It most probably refers to this.

in the Blancpain GT Asia series i think there are GT3s and GT4s together. if we get the Asia DLC we'll get some GT4 cars aswell.

 

Considering you can't even 'bring it home' before being kicked out of the car, I wouldn't read too much into the message.

 

The Gallardo R-Ex is a real GT3 car and should match the pace of the other GT3 contenders. The Huracan ST and the 911 GT3 Cup form their own class tho, performance wise bvelow the GT3s, which is a great addtiton for some multi class racing imo.

 

The class message more likely refers to the fact you can be leading the AM class but not overall, not actual car classes.

 

A GT4 full DLC would be awesome for begginers and not so experimented pilots, because with this cars you don´t get so many advantage as with GT3/GT2

Curious if the sim will feature mixed races with class podiums and points or not, and when. There's driver rating with bronze-silver-gold-platinum for players, the real driver's driver rating of the chosen team is displayed in the timing but so far no sign of actual classes.

Well, you'd hope you can eventually, otherwise that would be pretty disappointing and pointless for the message to be there.

 

I’m hoping the update is tmrw around 12pm est to test it for a few hrs otherwise its away from rig again another week but have ps4 gtsport there to get some fix
