1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    Considering that this thread is now four pages long without a direct response from a dev it is a pretty safe bet that your answer is: somewhere between 'never' and 'not any time soon'. Might as well free up the space on your hdd and go play whatever title you actually enjoy.

    This must be a new species of troll. I am a little speechless... o_O

    And again we have your opinion and again I could care less as yes, I only want to play ACC if and when it gets RTX support. Especially given how incredibly bad and buggy it's been anyway and the extreme lack of content compared to basically every other racing sim on the planet. I hoped something would set it apart and, for me, nothing has.

    I've seen some crappy communities but so far this one is taking the cake.

    I wouldn't in any way call ACC "a great title", I'd call it severely lacking of content and extremely buggy. Since, in my opinion I greatly prefer every other racing sim I already own the one thing I was hoping that would differentiate ACC for me was RTX support.

    In short words - ACC is crap but with RTX support it is worth to be played.... Now its the other way round - Bye... I am out of this thread :confused:

    edit: 149 hours AC but no ACC....and a lot hours in project cars. I can smell something :p

    How is he the troll? He just asked a question, instead of getting an answer he's gotten himself into a discussion that had nothing to do with the question he asked, at all.

    It's more like trolls hijacked this thread, giving replies like 'you could've just googled it'?! It's the official forums where he's asking the question, aren't the official forums meant for these type of questions to be asked?

    The question is plain and simple; Will (or when will) this game have RTX support?
    If you want to have a discussion about how much RTX is gonna suck cuz PCs won't be able to handle it anyway, go start a thread at the NVIDIA forums instead of posting opinions that have nothing to do with the question being asked in this thread.

    This thread is going way out of control.
    Our priority is to improve, optimize, and evolve all aspects of ACC. If after our long list of priorities the level of optimization of the title, and the maturity of the technology, permits a full blown implementation of RTX, we will gladly explore the possibility, but as of now there is no reason to steal development resources and time for a very low frame rate implementation.
