1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    Wasn't there a Table where you can see how much Down/Upload Speed you need for a certain Amount of Players?

  2. it's a combination with the "weekend simulation" both the day selected for each session and the randomness of the weather determine how rubbed is the track and can change during the race without the time
    multiplier involved.

    During a Blancpain race weekend, many different things are going to influence the track conditions.
    Friday night, we will start with fairly low or no rubber line, and a dusty track in general. Once the
    support programs start to run, the track will get a bit cleaner and build up rubber. How your first
    session looks like strongly depends on the race day you set up – Friday morning before 10am will
    give you the virgin track, while Saturday evening is already quite good grip.

    If it didn’t rain in
    between of course; high weather variation will of course often wash out the track. But as we also
    simulate the traffic of the other series during the weekend, you may find yourself in wet track with
    low/no rain, and the dry line started to form. Or the opposite, your session may find a really
    rubbered ideal line while it just starts to rain (beware, highly slippery).

    Ok, I understand now, I have to put into practice different combinations to try.
    But is there a combination to have a certain grip?
    Thanks so much for the reply anyway

  4. I think 0.0 randomness and 0.0 rain would have the best grip in day 3 (Sunday) at 15am, the other factor is the temperature of track/air

    Guys, another question, since I recently started running a server .. how can I make the box window appear?
    For now I have set the file as follows:

    {
    "qualifyStandingType": 1,
    "pitWindowLengthSec": 1,
    "driverStintTimeSec": -1,
    "mandatoryPitstopCount": 1,
    "maxTotalDrivingTime": -1,
    "maxDriversCount": 1,
    "isRefuellingAllowedInRace": true,
    "isRefuellingTimeFixed": false,
    "isMandatoryPitstopRefuellingRequired": false,
    "isMandatoryPitstopTyreChangeRequired": true,
    "isMandatoryPitstopSwapDriverRequired": false
    }

    "pitWindowLengthSec": 1, Only one second for the pit window ? :D

    "pitWindowLengthSec": 600, seems better (10 min pit window)

    @Minolin if you have a moment can you help me? :rolleyes:
    I have a server but I can't set up the pit stop window.
    The mandatory stop works, but the window does not appear (setting set to 600 seconds)
    I am attaching the .json files anyway.
    Event set to "sprint" as your handbook
    Thank you very much indeed

    So it works for you? Strange..
    It could depend on the host that the server supplies us .. I don't know what else to think if the values are correct ..
    Thank you for replying

    I add an info that could be useful.
    By doing tests, in the 30 minutes of the race I can also stop at the 1st or 30th minute, but I am not disqualified.
    This makes me think that not only is the window not visible in the HUD is that the server does not read it ....

    EDIT: Maybe I understand, there could be an extra space in the line that specifies the event .. tonight check and update.

  13. did you set up a private password protected server or it's open?
    in the log I find often the ERR= server is not private, can't load special event rules

    Pier84 Simracer

    the server is open, but being admin I can test what it is .. I put the psw and try.
    So, you say that I have to leave the files above and try a server with psw?

    Without password you can't set mandatory Pit stop.

  16. Pier84

    Pier84 Simracer

    But I don't know .. after the stop, "the race direction" by message says "mandatory pitstop carried out" .. I don't understand .. so you see that the stop is mandatory even without psw
    So it could be this ... tonight I try then I'll tell you, for now, thanks for the collaboration

    Yep there is some kind of bug, i encounter the same kind of problems. Like if you look at the the little colored square next to drivers name, it's green like when you do your stop.
    That was on a server where i was testing mandatory Pit, that i open to public After test without editing config.json.

    @Minolin
    Is it foreseen that in the future there will be a remote control tool for the ACCserver? Or at least a remote chat window?
    As being admin is very frustrating atm and building a cummunity for ACC is being hold back by these limitations.
    Hope to hear from you.

    Kind regards.
    A big ACC fan.

    @lordpatou @=MLF=Nick86ITA
    Finally i solved, the values of the server settings were all correct, it all depended on the psw, this is absurd :confused:
    Thanks a lot lordpatou!

    @Minolin
    Do you think it is a good thing to include this detail in the handbook? I think it's useful info.

    Guys, the "entrylist.json" file to enter my server directly as admin is correct?
    It is written just like this:

    {
    "entries": [
    {
    "drivers": [
    {
    "playerID": "76561198080220946"
    }
    ],
    "raceNumber": -1,
    "forcedCarModel": -1,
    "overrideDriverInfo": 0,
    "isServerAdmin": 1
    },
    ],
    "forceEntryList": 0
    }

    If someone asks why I ask here that trying directly is because I don't want to mess up and first save it in the "cfg" folder I want to be sure of what I do, thanks. :)
