1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

Pretty crazy. Now even F1 and MotoGP are staging esport events on their respective 2019 games.

At least with ACC, it's a true simulation ;)

Wonder if Bentley will enjoy the same success that BMW motorsport had last weekend in the virtual IMSA race? With the support of the factory Spengler and Catsburg took a dominant one-two.

Yes it’s quite clear the F1 drivers don’t want to drive Codies offering

Hopefully Liberty will get the message and try to understand why they prefer iRacing and Kunos’s offerings.

I find it highly unlikely. The race will probably be dominated by the simracers, but I hope the real racers can put some battle! In a longer race with more strategy involved things may be different, but in a one hour sprint...

I think ACC really shines in the broadcast of these events vs other SIMs/games, the realism is a significant notch above everything else. Also, I think the fact that the ACC events consist of experienced SIM racers makes a big difference as the race-craft also looks realistic. Watching e-sports is not something that has particularly interested me in the past but I watched the Redline Motorsport ACC race the other day and I certainly enjoyed it more than Formula E. I hope these events really raise the profile of Kunos and ACC, they deserve it and it can only be good for the Console launch.

The F1 event showed that throwing celebrities who have little to no SIM/racing game experience into an event/game just doesn’t work. I would like to see Lando in ACC though (but not Lando-bot) :p.

one thing its hard to pull out is perfect brodcasting of esports, because you have 1 guy doing all the work (with help of 2 others max) doing the works of bunch of people that do brodcast IRL. If you watch that brodacsting video from F1 you can see what i am talking about bunch of people on cameras giving them money shots and then there are decisions what view to use etc. Crazy stuff

But RLM and other big groups are killing it with what they can do.. Loving watching those races..

Is it true what they say in commentary that contact is turned of on the first lap, i did not know that is an option, or is this new since 1.3.8?
