1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

Yesterday the peak of player for AC was 6,847, I think it is an amazing accomplishment, and also that it is a tribute to the relentless efforts from a lot of user work and contribution

AC is really still strong - AC+ACC 9.5k - thats nothing compared with Euro Truck (>40k), but it is what it is^^

Euro truck is in no way comparable to AC, but ACC , PCars2 and R3E are. Yes more people are home these day, hence the overall higher volume, but still, AC gather as many players as ACC , PCars2 and R3E put together, and not just yesterday.
AC is stronger than ever and if anything it is going to gain even more popularity.

AC used to average under 3k and started growing fast since september, weird. Must be all the console boys immigrating to PC

Ah must be SOL and Shader Patch

Yeah wouldn't compare to Euro Truck, people play that with keyboards (I have no stats, but would assume vast majority of ETS2/ATS playerbase doesn't have a wheel)

Not weird, I find it very logical. With every update, new feature, additional content, AC is giving SIM racers a better SIM, with more choice and more options to enjoy.
When other SIM hardly progress, new offering limited to specific content, AC is showing what SIM racer want and enjoy. We are a niche group with eclectic interest. We usually feed our SIM appetite by using different SIM, but when one solution offers almost every thing under one roof, we seem to respond well to that proposition and use it.
Until a developer will offer something really evolutionary and different, I believe AC will continue to be used by more and more SIM enthusiast. For now, AC's future is bright as new offerings are either rehash of older engine or highly specialized, non modable content, great for what it is but very limited in scope.
the peak yesterday was over 7,000.

sorry, was a bit misleading. wanted to point out what (in my eyes is such a truck simulator emm .... strange) people spend their time - should not be compared to a racing simulation.

Hopefully at least some of these players are new people who are buying AC for the first time and helping Kunos as well as discovering the awesome stuff that Kunos does

I go back and forth pretty much all the time now. :)
ACC has it when it comes to graphics, physics and ffb (for my eyes and hands), but AC still feels great and there's so much amazing content in AC now that you just don't wanna miss out.

  19. So after playing on the F1 games, he upgraded to ACC, a much higher calibre of sim.

But now, he feels ready to immersive himself - and two other current F1 drivers - into the pinnacle of virtual sim racing content:

I'm sure he feels as though his life has peaked. No wait, thats me lmao
