1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    Which is really neither here nor there because I never said anything about all those members being on track. If they're online reading the forums that still means they're paying for the service. And the point was that a lot of people pay a monthly fee for a sim that has no AI at all, despite the claim that nobody "wants to feel like they have to go online in order to race". And it was mostly a tongue-in-cheek comment anyway, really not worth discussing any further.

    I wonder what this means:
    Curious to see what the difference between default and full will be. I guess this will split the players in 2 groups online, the ones with the free version and the one with payed. :(

    As awesome as it will be, car mods only get used online for a few days and then everybody goes back to the same ole same ole. Hope I'm wrong and that this mod is the exception to the rule.

    Well if any mod has a chance to be used online in "regular" basis it might be this mod.

    It most likely will be extra portion of the mod, not the main content priced, so I expect it not to make any difference for online, it might be step versions with extras.

    They said that the free cars will have different physics and sounds than the paid version, which suggests people with the free cars will not be able to join servers using the paid cars. Could be wrong, anyone's guess at this point.

    The thing is that I'm not seeing URD mods being used on pub servers often, at all. Therefore I HIGHLY doubt that people will really actually use these DRM cars, however popular they might be.

    True. That could partially be because most of the URD cars have similar equivalents already available as Kunos content. There's really not too much similar to the DRM cars available as stock/DLC content so maybe that will help a bit. But ultimately you're probably right, they'll be around for a week or two and then back to GT3 at Spa.

    Maybe going to much Off-Topic, but:
    Beside the more than fabulous sound, does anyone noticed the low noise / low ISO setting of the camera at this low light scene? Would be very interesting which camera-lens was used...

    EDIT: Got it from the description: Canon Legria HF G40
