1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    Is there a way to turn off infringement pop up messages for opponent drivers in MP sessions? It's distracting and I don't really need to know every 5 seconds what someone else is doing wrong.. Unless it is intended for a kick feature later on. If so it would be useful to have the drivers name rather than just the car number.

    Suggestion for devs: Make penalty messages that are dedicated for you in red color, because currently its hard to drive and read which car number got penalty(if its for you or not).

    you may be right, as they changed all special events, not only the SRO esports event. But then I wonder why being at p3 out of 250 in the new BMW Zolder event gives me PC 43? ;)

    They explained this before. If the event has less than a specified number of entries (think it was 1k) you can't get a lot of rating for it because it considers you p753 from 1000. Just to stop pace rating from being to high for people doing early runs.

    There is no bug. The PC is its position in terms of percentages relative to the best lap. The more pilots are improving their time, the lower you get. To improve your PC you have to improve your time again.

    Exactly, so being at p22 out of ~9000 racers should be PC99.

    But thanks to @nimp we may have found the answer to the PC rating for the new events in 0.7: maybe it will only show the correct figure after at least 1000 people have posted a laptime

    actually 500, but yes that's the concept. For the first days until the boards are filled up, the gap to 500 is calculated as they would go in front of you. Wait until saturday or sunday and all will be good again

    The colours idea is a good one and is also being discussed on the v0.7 thread along with a few other little things regarding player & opponent messages. Red is fine however sometimes for me depending on saturation, font size & back ground colour it can be difficult to read.

    The biggest issue I had was a MP practice sessions being bombarded with opponent po-up messages every five seconds for every infringement other drivers were doing. Personally I found it a little distracting and unnecessary in this scenario.

    Hello, P5 here, 64 PC, but currently there is 366 total times, so guess it changes when more more people do laps? :)

    Edit: should have read the thread through before checking, indeed thats the case. Sorry for pointless post :)

    About assigning buttons on a steering wheel, this is how I do it:

    Use only arrow keys (up, down, left and right and Enter key) when coming to Controls screen
    Moving up or down to come to specific function you want assign to some button, press Enter key, new dialog window will apper, and press the button you want assign to
    Continue this way for all the rest.

    Do not use mouse for any selection, only for Advanced option if necessary.
    I managed to assign all on my McLaren GT3 st. wheel.

    When I was using the down arrow, the red bar started running and didn't stop and no, the Logitech G Keyboard isn't broken.
    So this didn't worked for me.

    No VR.
