1.03 Controller Settings

Interesting about the controller issue. I was upset with the original default, but felt that the default settings after the update were an improvement. Maybe you could try running a couple of laps in hotlap, using a car and track that you feel comfortable with. Test some different settings that way.
btw, you mentioned PCars. I have revisited the game since it was so repeatedly mentioned in this forum. One of the reasons that I originally walked away from it was the controller settings. I have used what I learned on AC to set the controller on PCars. Now I am able to enjoy both.

I've spent 80+ hours trying to get the controls to my liking and it's a no go for me, I do hot laps and practice sessions to test the settings, I don't just change the settings and then try it on one corner with one car and say no that doesn't work, I try with multiple cars on different tracks for multiple laps.

I know how to use a controller for sims been doing it since Indy 500 on the Amiga, and I've had wheels in the past I'm no stranger to this type of game/sim with both control types.

I'm no better or worse on PCars after playing AC, My control settings are sorted on PCars.

I found default settings fine too before the uodate, though I did change them.

Thats exactly what I do, 3 or 4 laps on 3 tracks with various types of cars. The gt3 cars and the Alfa 4c is what gave me problems with every setting. I've managed to get decent setting now that work for gt3 cars as well as all cars.

 

Spent hours of testing and this is what feels stable, fast but also precisive. I have good controlls on high Speed and mid speed corners. Just the slow ones (2nd Gear) are a bit slow reactions. All in all it feels Good and you can catch the car on 180+ kmh. Tested on Nordschleife BTG with AMG GT3 default Setup and it was about 10 seconds quicker than all the other Controller settings.

Please let me know your opinion. Not as good as before 1.03 but I can deal with it

Just got the game and found driving impossible with the DS4 till I tried this and it's working for me. Thanks for taking the time to post it.

 

These are working the best for me also, after trying most of the settings here.
Tried with the virtual lock on 900 degrees first but setting it back to 400 degrees works better for me.
